Schellbourne Station sits about 43 miles north of Ely, Nevada, spanning 15 acres. Previously, the property hosted a restaurant/bar, a motel, and a gas station. It also features an artisan well. With its panoramic vista encompassing Steptoe Valley, the Schell Creek Range, and the Telegraph Mountain Range, the location is often hailed as one of Nevada's premier hunting spots.
A glimpse into its past reveals that Schellbourne, once known as Fort Schellbourne and Schell Creek Station, rests within the Schell Creek Range. This town served as a vital stop along the Central Overland Route, the Pony Express, and the original path of the Lincoln Highway. Today, it stands as Nevada Historical Marker number 51.
