Abandoned NE Houston home connected to landlord with history of complaints 

The city does not care about certain areas, its intentional and harmful

It would be ashamed if the house mysteriously burned down.

Why should anyone file a complaint? You can plainly see the city did NOTHING for her and her family.

We had a similar issue with boats abandoned at the HOAs boat rack. After sending out warning letters and posting notices in our news letter many boats still went unclaimed. We cut the locks and took away the boats. Within a month people started to come to the office to complain about their boat being stolen and threatening to hold us accountable. You should've seen the look of disappointment on their faces when we escorted them to the place where we hid the boats. We now had their identities and they had to take their boats home. Tear down this house and an attorney will be filing a suit shortly thereafter after the owner's family miraculously appears to claim the house.

I'm sorry but this city is such a chaotic behemoth that a person could complain practically forever and not get some action. Look at how long the nightmare of the water department went on.

Condemn the house and tear it down.

As much as people hate on HOAs, this is why they’re important.

Condemn the property and seize under imminent domain. Than place a lien on his personal home to cover the cleanup costs. Lastly foreclose on the lien and auction off that property. Then you might get this bum's attention.
