There ground floor door was jammed solid indid wanna ride inside of it but dint wanna risk getting stuck inside of it let alone on to haha

@KIRBZ VIDS if door break or damage To try fix it if it's works? If inside the lift can so if is fixed how about door Trying call for help? Or something

Not so dangerous if you know what you doing this are 2 engineers those found this lift and if there hand are thinkeling the grab there tools

The outer door roller on the ground floor was stuck in the open position was reson the lift stoped working 😁

@@KIRBZVIDS if it started workin again for some reason, would it be bad if it were still in "Normal" mode? like it wouldn't know to stop before it got to the very top of the shaft if it were moving on its own.

Most lifts will head to the lowest floor if they are no longer sure of where they are in the shaft, at least from what I’ve seen And at least where i live, lifts will either remain where they are until they are called, or automatically go down to the lowest floor after they are switched from inspection back to normal

@@pineappleroad Ahh that makes sense. Especially the last part, seems like a safety precaution. I was imagining the elevator half way between two floors, and it decides to move to the closest one and that happened to be up. Going to the 'default' position seems more accurate. There's some interesting videos where people intentionally confuse elevators to gain access to restricted floors usually requiring a key, because they're at the bottom of the shaft.

Ill hopfully find some places soon i got to save up abit so i can afford to get About hopfully meet up with pepole this year and have a lath but i do seem to a small section of pepole who hate on my content but cant please everyone i guess haha

@@maff909 this lift was a one off i wouldent dare put pepole ontop of a lift that i condemn dangerous i did pre checks before i even fort about standing in the lift haha

@@KIRBZVIDS I hate those people instead (I have also had them a few times - usually pussies who think you do "something dangerous and illegal"). The way RU-vid is, such assholes have a really easy time as well - they should show who (name of the account) put the latest dislike (as some forums does) and remove the pathetic "flag" function (or at least show, who flagged a video - the ability to flag videos anonymously, is the worst - it's like it's really made up for haters who want to ruin good videos) As soon as you know who is, it easy to get back - you can get into their channel as well and press dislike on all their videos (I have done so my self a few times and even had some friends do the same, when figuring out who it is - very effective way to get rid of the problem, haha). This video was great by the way - nice that you got that old elevator with a damaged door, running and also good that you taught about a second plan if it got stuck (because that was the first risk that come into my mind when you started riding on top of the cab and there was such a long part of the shaft with no doors - if it had one door on each floor it's another thing).

@@KIRBZVIDS Why not you try the Paragon Hotel,Yeah. It has a broken elevator (theres only one duh) And The Indicator doesn't Indicate... Hopefully You can fix this elevator (hopefully this hotel has a motor room).

Yes haha dose happen some times but i would not dare to do it if i knew the lift acsessed flats, communal areas im not to fussed as its pepoles privacy and respect to the bulding owner

KIRBZ VIDS i did make a lift video like 4 months ago its called crazy HDR lift time

We usaly are buddy i didbalot of pre checks before we even fort of standing on this lift let alone sufing it we did no wanna ride inside of it due to the doors being a pain to open and close and more risk of getting stuck inside of it, most we shoud of not done is ride it full speed but thats why we drive the lift back up using inspection control panel then there no risk of beijg crushed buy the counter wait or the top of the lift shaft

@@KIRBZVIDS Aha. Where is this? It has a german OTIS control panel. But is it in Germany and which city? And which year ? Year of closure is 2005 but the built year. It has a new controller but an older motor.

Failed sump pump perhsps. Most elevator pits have a pump that automatically pumps the water out, and the fact that the elevator has bern shut down so long they probably cut power to the pump as well allowing pit to fill with water is my guesx.

It wasent far off it was 1972 but ovs with modernisation logic not the orginal relay lifts are even easer to fix

It hasent worked since 2005 it took 3 days to get working and it going to be replaced soon with a brand new lift
