I was assigned as security police at Greenham Common 1983-1984. I spent a lot of time at that entry control point. The "G" on the light switches designate the patrol areas. G meaning GAMA, then the area. The small building further on was the "Fire Team" building. (8:57) With small windows. It housed 4 man armored car team that did not routinely patrol. Just during alarms or emergencies. 2 men with M-16s, 1 with M-203, and a machine gunner, M60. So much money was spent on that base. I guess it is good we don't need it any more. But shame about all that had to be spent on it. I never went into the big bunkers. They were always manned with officers and men that ran the missiles. So maybe you have seen more then I ever did. Smaller bunkers had "high value" assets and ammo. Thanks for the memories.
Wtf kind of hydraulic jack setup is that? I've never seen something like this in the US. I'm also extremely surprised it isn't low on oil. Have you ever seen one low on oil?
Funny you say about the oil thay over filled it so wen insent it to the lowest floor i came spewing out the tank all over the floor 😂 and yh is kinda strange setup the logic is rather basic aswell
Id love to get down there. I assume Rudloe Manor and the CCC has tunnels connecting to these? The CCC is interesting and I wreckon thats where it goes further underground unless there is more places in the area ive not heard of. Deffo did research in these underground tunnels and facilities including Rudloe Manor. Whether they had and ufo wreckage or not i dont know but research 100% happened there.
Rudloe manor doesn't have any underground areas as that across the road on the other site doesn't connect, CCC is in the fsr end of tunnel querry and the other end of tunnel querry is PNCC
All railways of this kind worked by water, you filled the tank when at the top to outweigh the carriage at the bottom then drained it when it reached the bottom. Then the other carriage was filled and so it went on.
Myself, my pregnant daughter, my baby, my son and an older lady all free fell in that lift today into this abandoned night club.. we walked round everywhere trying to find a way out but couldn't.. the lady called a shop who then called security to help.. it was terrifying. Felt some bad energy down there.
My family lived in Birmingham from 1970 to 1985. I wonder if we were connected to that exchange when it was full of all the old mechanical switches and other equipment?
It cannot be reopened, The platforms and modern safety standards are not compatible I heard and that it would be better building from scratch, so both expensive options. Also it would slow down most of the Piccadilly line causing longer waits at King's Cross adding more congestion there. So it's a non-starter, only in London would you get people too lazy to walk or catch a bus down a road, so it would be inconvenience millions for the sake of being a convenience for thousands, that's how it was weighed up.
@KIRBZVIDS Holy shit, you couldn't be serious bruv? If you are, LOL that'd put me in the madhouse trying to get my final edited video near perfect as possible 🤪🤣🤣
Corden paid £8 million in 2021, said to be £2 million over the asking price. It is said he wanted the land (47 acres) and not the house. It's been empty for over two years while he's been in the US. Recent photos show the mansion boarded up and warning signs have been erected to deter trespassers who had previously posted videos touring the derelict property online. Corden is now planning to move back to the UK with his family. Planning approval has been received to demolish the old mansion and replace it with a new two-story six-bedroom home with basement, courtyard, multiple living areas, and terraces.
Just a third world country. Is this AXE10 still in service. I'm so embarrassed to be British to think these morons can just access a working TE my god how we have fallen.
Very cool. I have done stuff like this many times. Are you using a pure sine or a modified sine inverter? You need to use a pure sine inverter they are way much better. Great video.
do you reckon this spot is still open to urbex? i tried to go to belsize however a MASSIVE iron/steel block covering entrances, i wanna explore a ww2 bunker, wondering if this will be the one. please let me know!
I've walked past this building so many times and always wondered about the deep communal garden at the back but never thought that it hide anything so interesting.
There was also a lovely ballroom on Greenham park i used to go to discos there. It had paintings of raf planes and parachutes.. painted onto the walls...the airmen and women used to go there for dances. Then all tore down disgusting shame.
They filmed some of star wars there. I used to stay jn the hotels dead cheap then the prices suddenly shot up. I kept hoping to see Harrison ford lol 😆
