I asked myself , who is Kumander DAOT , got my attention, and i found out that you have a very interesting stories ready to share to the world...AMAZING ...Thanks for this very informative episode...I have more videos to watch in your channel... AND this is the first video who caught my eagerness, and curiosity, where it adds more information to us , about the lives of our brothers in the south..,, .STAY SAFE ALWAYS... ,( how you got this name ...from where you got this name....just asking if you don't mind) .
@@eduardodonato5977 thank you so much! Kumander Daot... Well... It's a long story haha, Kumander came from my old staff in Cateel, and Daot was just my sense of humour 😁
*TOTALLY AGREE!!* It is very informative too. In fact I'm learning new things from him about the places he goes. Unlike foreign vloggers in metromanila whose contents are nothing but just their repetitive daily routine which is kinda boring to watch. KD is different. Once you press the play button, you'd completely get immersed in his video.
@@bojomojo4109 Vlog's like this is what really makes KD stand out among vloggers in Phil. His cinematography and editing is superb plus his voice and narration is really suited for a docu type vlogs. I think if you get Kulas or Finn or your fave Bisayang Hilaw 😉😁 to vlog about this place , it would not come out as good and engaging as how KD does it. That said , i would defer to your DUMB assessment that vlogs of those vloggers in metro manila is boring (to you 😁) I think you are still young with limited knowledge and few subject of interests or maybe you are DUMB to think that people will have same limited interest like you hahaha 😉. You see, if you get KD to stay in this place for a month and do a daily vlog from there, i am sure it would become boring (even to you 😁) and not as good as these first few episodes. Those vloggers base in MM are OFTEN still churning out nice vlogs although they vlog daily. Testimony to it is , alot of followers are still watching and enjoying them (including you i think 😁) That's the advantage of doing vlogs in the Phil. There are so many subjects that you can cover. If you vlog about travel and adventures , there are 7641 islands you can explore. Along with island explorations are varied foods and cultures which can be featured as vlog subjects too. Even if you try to cover only 30% of the total islands, that would take many years of daily vlogging without running out of topic . Natural calamities and issues , which is abundant in the country, can be a vlog subject too every now and then. So in conclusion quit your Dumb thinking that MM vloggers are boring and not as good as KD. They just have different ways ..and maybe different topic during this lockdown time. And you , the Dumb with limited interest , is just you who has different likes not same to many of us hahaha😉 ✌
All of our world is beautiful, but the Philippines seems to have a concentrated abundance of beauty, and it's people just adds to that beauty, beautifully!
Legend has it that Nuk Um gold treasures and native scrolls are hidden deep on that cave and thousands of snakes were brought in to guard it, and reportedly no one dare to look for it and recently even foreigner adventurer kdaot bravery failed and brought shame to his thousands of viewers who are cheering for him. 😂 😝 😂
The effect might be due to the fact that the plain is somehow tilted in such a degree that your brain cannot tell that it's tilted and at the same time felt the orientation of the plain. Thus, making your brain confused how to react.
David should start his own vlog! He's got that quirky personality that will engage us more deeply with a gem of a culture and landscape of the Tboli's. Thumbs-up if you agree to subscribe!
Kumander Daot, yes "The Storyteller", thanks for appreciating our culture and our country....you really deserve an award for doing this...and I know that you love and enjoy every minute of it......take care and stay safe...God bless
I have since found out the following from someone who was there in the 1960s: - It was a cattle ranch, the widest in Asia at the time. They raised Brahman cattle for export to Australia - The tower was for armed guards to spot cattle rustlers and thieves. - The palace was just an ordinary house on top of the cemented base - They bred racing horses there too
please keep doing more of these type of contents. Mysteries, myths, forgotten history, etc in the philippines. You’re getting better abd better at this!
You have excelled in your vlogging so quickly! This series has been amazing thus far, and each one seems to be better than the last. I can't wait to see the next 2 installments! It's clear that your viewers are all as thoroughly impressed as I am. This is social media at its finest!!! 🙌💯 SALAMAT KAAYO PO! Aloha at Mabuhay! 🤙
tiboli south cotabato is so so so beautiful. k.anselm daot your drone is priceless. the whole thing is amazing. the BBC and CNN are coming at you for documentary. david, you are the man, and K.D. 's friend so helpful, the whole community are the children of Gods. thank you.
This is the only vlog that I actively follow from the Philippines. I'm always interested to see what happens next. Anselm, I really love how you capture the culture of the places you visit. Whether at the local restaurants or by talking with different local people. It's insightful to sit down with the elders and hear what they have to say. It may sound odd, but I love how you show the different conditions of the roads. It really brings me along the journey with you and as an expat living abroad, it's something I always pay attention to and comment on. Lastly I just want to say that I believe you provide a complete picture of where you're living and I appreciate that. Thanks for taking us all along your journey!
I am jealous, KD nailed it. Most filipinos especially living luzon and visayas doesn't want to go as far as that place. very hard. Thank you for showing us that place. Awesome
Kumander Daot may not be a videographer by profession per se but, he's got that artistic talent to capture a picturesque view of that stunning mountain ranges from a bird's eye view. Good job my friend!! You make us, your viewers feel wonder and appreciative with what we are watching. Truly very interesting adventure!!!
It's about time to call you Kumander Ayo (from maayo). Words are powerful. They create who you become. You found your niche in creating maayong content. Kudos to you. I appreciate your time and effort in traveling to different places and doing all the hard work of editing etc. Blessing to you.
You are definitely taking us to parts of the Philippines where perhaps no other foreigner has ever gone before. Thank you for the adventure and educating us more about the Philippines.
Documentary at its finest❤️. Thank you Kumander D for making this video series to which most of us Filipinos are not aware of how beautiful this T'boli tribe is and how they well guarded the nature.
With the sovereignty issue in the West Phil Sea, our brave T'boli brothers show us on how to deal with it. This episode Kumander D is timely with the present events as it shows us that even if an envader had succeeded in occupying their land and constructed a fortress on it when they were down, still, Surrender was never an option when fighting for what is legally ours... recover it.
land territories are more specific than sea territories... and much easier to claim. this issue with WPS everybody wants to go to war against China. tsk. with this corona pandemic raging the world, and still a little house lizard wants to start a war with the sleeping dragon... that will mean the annihilation of the Filipino race, man. sometimes, we really have to choose our battles.
Another successful blog Kumander D. I’m originally from Marbel, South Cotabato and I only managed to go as far as Lake Cebu. The history of Tiboli Tribe is a amazing and how they fought for their land. Thank you again.
I salute👍you K you help to promote the natural beauty and native culture of the Philippines. Take care😊🙏what a heavenly awesome view🌈🙏I am speechless, omg😲so peaceful. nice to hear that you fight for your rights for your land👏👏👏Salute👏👍🎉
IT'S SO AMAZING TO IMAGINE OF HOW THEY BUILT AND TRANSPORTED THOSE HEAVY STEEL AND METALS THAT MOUNTAINOUS PLACE.....WOW! THANK YOU KUMANDER DAOT FOR THIS AWESOME ADVENTURE....VERY NICE AND PEACEFUL TRIBE!!
this series is awesome. Kumander's narrative and his candidness brings out the beauty of the place, the people and the culture of the Tibolis. Thank you for taking us with you in this journey!
Aloha ... You are getting really good at sharing the Philippines and your visual is remarkable...Kumander thank you for these wonderful videos... Please continue but be careful
You were born to be a vlogger- perfect aerial shots, background music and the story-telling. Forget about the fish pond for now and concentrate more on the vlogs. Road to 100K subscribers. Good luck and congratulations in advance. You are doing such a very great job. Very informative. Keep it up.
I know you love the Philippines because it's a lot of adventure you've can do , from the river to the sea , from cities to mountains ! Just be friendly to the mountain people , and always have a guide with you before going to the mountains of Mindanao! A Filipina from Japan 🇯🇵!
Great vlog, Kumander Daot! You got me interested to find out the history of the Nucum palace, the oppression the person who own the palace did to the people of the area and how they fought to reclaim their heritage. I could not find anything. I hope someone who knows its story share it. Thank you.
Commander Daut maybe you were just overwhelmed by your imagination and fear, that's why you freaked out. Think positively and remind yourself that everything is going to be fine. Maybe when I settle back to the Philippines🇵🇭 we can explore places together. Posted from Los Angeles, California🇺🇲

Thank you soooo much for exploring mindanao with out fear...because of your vlog no doubt that mindanao is such a gem... GOD BLESSS AND ALWAYS BE SAFE..
Pro work shipmate. Forget raising fish, you have found your occupation amigo. This is past a Vlog, this is a true documentary. Hope some film company will see this. Enjoy & keep up the good work.
This series will do you good KD- unleashing your energy , your emotions, your fears, and recalling your happy memories with very accommodating people around you...the best therapy...
After you showed us the idyllic beauty of the Tiboli area, Kule Trail on your way to Lake Holon which gave you and me (us) a sense of peace, it was really weird for you and for me (us) to experience the visit to the Abandoned Palace which reminds me of the movie Schindler’s List. The Chinese landgrabber reminds me of the Nazi officer who would randomly shoots community people from his balcony. Watching you trying to understand the place, made you queezy. I’m so happy that you briefly featured a T’Boli who spoke about his community’s struggle to get back their ancestral land from the landgrabber. Thank you to David for giving you/us the chance to know about the Abandoned Palace. Yes, after a freaky experience, you need a sip of beer. Me too.
Watching the videos several times is always a joy. Seeing things differently the 2nd time around. Thank you so much for your creativity. That is why we went to Patreon and support you every month! Keep being you. Welcome to the documentary world with a twist.
Wow, that was an amazing place kumander.. I also had that feeling few years ago when we were in South Tirol Austria mountain forest😁it was a sudden scary feeling😁 But I think it's a natural mind reaction in a place that is not so familiar to a person... Nice Vlog Kumander👌👍🏼
Thank you Kumander D for such an amazing adventure. This places in Mindanao is so breathtaking. Stay safe and enjoy. Waiting for the next one. Bless you bro.
Wonderful mix shots covering the views, the culture, and the invasion of Chinese mogul who tried to monopolize the area. Can't believe they went all the way there.
360 view - that is insane Anselm! View of the crater is one of a kind! Watchtower is a little bit unstable and based from the snippets of your story, this area is wrap up with some kind of "History and mystery". Chinese guy who called this place "Home" at one time must be adventurous - very adventurous. Your filming is getting better and better catching all the nooks and crannies and in between what's along the way. Good Job! See you on your next video and be very careful.
Wow amazing vlog. I’m fascinated with your content. Love the Mountain View. I feel like you already brought me there with this vid. Thank you Kumander Daot. New sub here
Truly appreciate your latest videos. Beautiful! I love your vlogs more because it is informative and educational as well as inspiring. I wish I can go home na. Daot guid ka ayo. Stay safe. Thanks to all the people in the video.
Owl !! I had to stop your vid and wind it back as I didn't believe it the first time. I think some further explanation was required. I have to admire the fitness that you have displayed in this series. It must be good for you.
New Subscriber here like just now. I do not know how I ended up here but I love your content about the tribe. Thank u. You featuring them will make other people know that they exist.
Kumander, you are next to God's heaven, surrounded by friends who loves and takes care of you..food might not be in abundance but they survive and exist with measly means..they try to be upbeat and help one another..Peace will follow you around Kumander..I really believe you have found your Nirvana..your friend did..left the city because he fell in love with the Tboli's and his inner peace.
That was the old hideout of Doctor Evil, just kidding. But that is so cool, thank you Komander for taking this journey. It’s very interesting and love the storytelling, keep up the good work master chief!!!
Kumander Daot improves a lot on his vlog ging. A far flung picturesque scenery that a Filipino have not reach yet. Love the nature and Anselm way adventures
