The crazy thing is no one even talks about this crazy little abandoned shopping center. It just seems to been forgotten and more neglected as time moves forward.
Let’s explore the history and its significance with the Queen Mary.
 Built in 1974 as Mary's Gate Village and later known as London Towne, this series of buildings is only half of the original Olde English-themed shopping village through which tourists originally entered the Queen Mary attraction.
They originally crossed to the ship from the village on a giant bridge. When that process was abandoned and the bridge demolished, the village ceased to have a purpose and was partially demolished for construction of the Cruise Terminal parking garage.
