Yep. Rite aid closing all over. They were so expensive anyway. Walmart strikes again! Great explore! 😊😊😊

All the lights left on, seems like a waste of electricity. Sad to see my favorite store closing all over the place.

And I have a location that used to be a shoppers that is in 2801 Smith Ave Pikesville Maryland it’s now a safeway

Why didn't they remove the Rite Aid sign after closing.

Rite Aid was always hostile to associates on the front line (store level employees). Corporate leadership all the way to the top was never culpable for anything. They also milked the company dry with their over the top bonus program always getting out the bonus checkbook for themselves even when profits were sinking. Managers and pharmacists started getting "job performance out" of their jobs when they got into their 50's. The company would even do things to set associates up to fail by making it impossible to meet metrics. Rite Aid also had very poor labor relations with warehouse employees. The company was good at making enemies considering the wide range and large number of lawsuits they had to deal with. At one point they even had the CEO and executive management go to prison for cooking the books cheating stock holders. They said things changed after this but I wonder. Loyalty was not rewarded, it got to where they did not want employees staying for years building up vacation time and getting vested 401k matches. The company truly was a turd.
