Abandoned Roadside Attractions & Relics of Georgia - School Bus Graveyard - The World’s Largest Peanut & The World’s Largest Chicken + Abandoned &Sketchy Georgia Gas Station @CristheGirl #abandoned #georgia #roadsideattractions
As a child in the 60s, nothing was more exciting than seeing the Stuckey's signs as you traveled along Route 66. Clean bathrooms, good treats and the very best souvenirs.
Believe it or not that is actually the 2nd version of the world’s largest peanut. The original one was destroyed in a hurricane a few years ago. Thanks again to a reliable source Mr. Carpetbagger
"No humans on the dog equipment" - signs like that exist because of people like me 😂. Aw, I could watch your road trip adventures all day Jay. Some of my favorite comfort content, you keep me company while I work from home lol. ❤
I was just about to post that this is a replacement peanut. But someone beat me to it. The first one was destroyed by Hurricane Michael. We used to see the original for years on our trips up and down I-95 to and from Florida. I am glad they rebuilt it. We stopped at many Stuckey's throughout the years. Love their pecan logs. We stopped at one in Georgia in the late 1980's and either there or close by my husband got a snack pack of peanuts and a Dr. Pepper. He loves to put peanuts in his Dr. Pepper. On that particular occasion he mistakenly bought candied peanuts and when he put them in his Dr. Pepper it foamed all over and nearly exploded onto the dashboard! That is a fond family vacation moment we laugh about now!
Haven’t had a chance to comment as of late Jay; still tuning in to all of your videos…love the recent content and glad to see Chris along with you. The school bus graveyard looks awesome. Anything creepy in the woods makes me shiver but I love it needless to say. Thanks for all you do my friend! ❤
The chicken in Fitzgerald will probably never be complete. It was started and they ran out of money. My sister lived there and everyone in the town was mad at the mayor about it.
Tampa Jay, you crack me up! Love your videos and also Cris the Girl to! You guys make a great couple. I live vicariously thru you and your videos! Hope someday I can travel around and visit various places 😊
Enjoyed this one as usual the old Stuckey's brings back memories of traveling as a kid and how cool it was to stop in and get a treat if i remember they had these pecan rolls that were very rich but I loved em. Thanks again for bringing us along and keep up the good stuff.
Everything you do is masterpiece! Thanks for opportunities to get to know America better! Huge fan of everything American! Those Roadside attractions episodes were so cool as always!!!
That School Bus Graveyard was so cool. I could spend days in there and that beige Subaru Leone Wagon atop that school bus (5:18) man I want to save that thing. Such a chilled video, definitely the Americana vibes needed today.
Great video. Everytime we left those mountains, we felt a sadness like leaving our hearts there. Love those mountains... You show so much in your travels and very enjoyable to watch the videos. Stay safe Tampa Jay and Cris. 🙏💜💙
Excellent video guys always love to see those sites was blown away by the school buses so many ( why were they never scrapped properly some £'s/$'s lost there ) thanks for taking the time to do these videos
The giant chicken was supposed to be a topiary Airbnb you could rent out but the builder/contractor left town. Some locals are working on finishing it in their spare time. If you're back in the area in early March, definitely check out the Wild Chicken Festival. Another fun event in the town next door, Ocilla, GA is the Sweet Potato Festival happening in October. Love how you're sharing small town USA.
Tampa Jay my brother and friend thank you for sharing all your adventures with us and thank you for saying for today's creature feature that always makes my day😊🧡🎃 I always get excited whenever you drop another video. I found a Halloween holiday shirt that I'm wanting to add to the gift list for you and I need to know what shirt size is comfortable for you and I found some witchy cool stuff for Cris the girl and some of it glows purple.
@@TampaJay Thank you my brother and friend. Trust me you'll love the shirt. I just don't know what size to get you i'm guessing you're shirt size is medium, or large or extra large the shirt says every day is Halloween. 🧡🎃
Yes sir we love our Bucees, and further down 75 I remember stopping at Stuckey for snacks on our way to the beach vacation Funny you passed by my house right off 75 Wish I could have met you guys❤
Stopping at Taco Bell, you better hope you get home as quick as you can!!! BTW, the world's largest jelly jar, weighing in at 1,005 kilograms, is in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Last, @Cristhegirl 's shirt ROCKS!!!!
Hey Jay! What's up? Wow! North Carolina is so gorgeous! Kinda getting hooked by Smoky Mountain,Cherokee town ! Wish I were there !!! So much stuff to do and to see there !!! Awesome 😎!!!! And you are awesome!!!
Jay before COVID they had a stuffed chicken Marsala that was great too but they took it off the menu at Olive garden it seems like most of the original items on the menu are gone they need to bring them back
I've passed that big peanut for a lot of years traveling on 75. FYI there's another huge peanut outside Dothan, Alabama for the National Peanut Festival grounds on highway 231! Fun video today! Thanks for taking us along!
Love your videos! Back in the 60's Stuckey's would give you a piece of jewelry with 10 gallons of gas! I always made my dad fill up so I could pick out a new pin! That chicken was insane, FYI the gizzard is part of the stomach, the hanging thing is the wattle.
Jay I wanted to recommend you get the stuffed chicken tortellini Alfredo at Olive garden it's great also it's sad most of the red lobsters are closing I hope someone saves them I love both these places and cracker barrel too have great week
Hi Tampa Jay and Chris the girl it's Michelle here from over here in Nottingham in England 🇬🇧 its Tuesday teatime May the 28th 16:55 pm it's been raining 🌧 over here all day and just stopped I have never seen a big peanut like that one before so cool I always love watching yours and Chris the girls videos it wouldn't be the same without them love you both ❤️ 😘 💕 ♥️ 💖 💗 😊😅😂
My first two cars were a Taurus. I tried the salt water taffy after seeing in your video and loved it. That’s really sketchy. I’d wonder just what type of massages they were offering 😳 Stuckey’s pecan logs are so good. There used to be one in Newport TN and when hubby and I would go back to East TN where we grew up we’d always stop. No shame in the Taco Bell game. I miss the days when you could get a huge bag of food for like $5 there. Great video guys!!!
Hello ya'll! 👋 You always find the coolest places to explore. Thank you for taking us along with you. Be safe heading home. Hugs 🤗 and God's blessings 🙌
I was trying to figure out where that peanut was it's on a strip of 75 that we hardly ever pass through in Ashburn also was a big fireworks store there don't know if it still is.
