I never thought a Waffle House could be put in a poor location and not thrive.

I remember going to Waffle House in 2017. The service was slow but the staff was very friendly.

Another closure in the bad part of our town due to crime , theft shootings and etc. This is very close to the house I grew up in, like 2 miles but back then it was a good part of town. This was a Chinese restaurant for a while which is who painted the wall purple.

I've seen a couple abandoned W-H's, usually older locations though. Odd that they would close a newer one!

That’s the one across from SLED. It was a nice spot for them but they had slow service. It still looks brand new inside and outside. Of course it’s not getting vandalized due to SLED across the street. It’s not a bad area it just a low traffic area. Most Waffle House is close to the interstate.

Don't see closed Waffle Houses much but we had one on the outskirts of a dead mall in our area and it was converted to a Subway when then redeveloped the property. They make nice Subway restaurants.

Hey wallieb26 you can tell that yes this was a waffle house at one time but once waffle house left another business moved in and then left because waffle house never had purple paint in their restaurants

Hey Wallie there’s an abandoned old Olive Garden in Columbia, SC. Could you film it? It’s a really old one.

Lived outside Columbia most of my life, Waffle Houses usually close because they get a bit old and they build a new one down the road, I have seen this done dozens of times, I have seen Waffle Houses across the street from one another and 1 mile stretches of road with three Waffle Houses and all were successfully operational for decades, SLED across the street is South Carolina Law Enforcement Division if anybody is wondering what the acronym is for. Thanks for the tour, but to say one is abandoned is not really a big deal, obviously they get old or run into other problems, funny started typing this before you got to the end of the video where you noted there is another one down the road, probably same owner LOL

I've never been to one these yet been trying to go but the closest one to me is way in Greensburg pa.. actually past there it's like 40 miles from me I think 🤔.

In North Charleston, SC on Northwoods Blvd there is a Waffle House and something is happening to it. There are signs on the windows and a dumpster out front.
