ABAQUS CAE/Example 8: Ball shoot Plate-Impact with element deletion  

In this job you had given 40 m/s velocity to the ball and the total run time is 0.001. I gave the similar values and perforation could not happen. in fact its not passing the plate completely, only made a crack. How did you get the results and perforation with just 40 m/s velocity. Please explain. I would like to thank you for showing this wonderful simulation.

How long does it approximately take to run this sort of a simulation?
