@RICARDO26071 Slowish maybe. But fast enough to keep up with the cycle of the Injection Molding machine. And as @6418978876 commented they do not take breaks and can maintain that pace 24 hours a day & 366 days (in 2012) a year.
@Kinglevel because its able to cut 24 hours day which makes it already fast and it would not be motivating for a worker to cut whole day i think. All simple working tasks will become dominated by robots in the future i think
I have been working with robots ( ABB, Fanuc, and Nachi) for over 10 yrs now. I can about guarantee what you saw was really slowed down to show you what they are doing. What you saw there was prolly about 50% or slower of full speed.
as long as it meets cycle time, the speed does not matter. but the slower the better as its easier on the gears reducers. and having change out many gears in motoman es200 robots, its no fun.
ja se passaram 5 anos desde que este vídeo foi postado. eles devem estar mais rápidos agora. . é so comprara a tecnologia de 2000 com a de 2005 e vera como é o salto tecnologico
@ABBRobotics Yes, but the manpower from countries like Brazil and China are much cheaper, even with taxes and other costs, I am mechanical engineer, and here in Brazil, most robots are used for tasks requiring high production, but very cool the video, I know we can count on more agile robots in the future.
