This song is only a demo and it part of a collection of unreleased tracks early version of songs and studio chatter that explains the the bit at the beginning.
Honestly, I didn't know about it, because it was never officially released. and it's okay, with a nice piano sound, and the guitar kind of looks like a banjo, which gives the country effect. but it lacks the voices of the girls to be a pure ABBA song (and these sound like a demo track) Jay, I prefer the most classic ABBA songs, you have several unexplored by you a suggestion would be the first ABBA single: "People Need Love" (1972) this year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABBA and this song other options would be "Bang a Boomerang" (1975) "Tiger" (1976) best regards to you and your family from Buenos Aires, Argentina
That was actually a demo,Parts of it were used to other songs such as on Hamlet(also a demo) with the girls singing in a fab and totally dif style and arangement(ballad). It's groovy country kinda funny n amusing.I still insist though JAYBRIEL: "SUPPPER TROUPPPER" next one please.A great and huge one, you still "criminally" ignore.lol!C'mon!
When you are ready to do more Bee Gees, please consider "Lonely Days". You will be surprised and delighted, I promise. (please do the studio version... The live versions I've seen don't have very good sound quality and/or they leave out a lot,).
Great reaction! I was never into ABBA, even though their 1970’s songs were wonderful at the time on the radio and helped define the decade. I’ll take this song over today’s cringe country music scene. Have you heard “Eres Tu” by Mocedades? It came in second place Eurovision 1973 for Spain
Really the only thing that sounded like ABBA was the piano. Not Country enough to be Country, it almost sounds like a parody or something. I didn’t care for this one. I think that instrument you were questioning might have been a steel guitar…
Well it lacks the lyricism of I Still Have Faith in You and it doesn't achieve the singability of Take a Chance on Me. It's pretty dire, and it makes Two for the Price of One sound interesting. I can't imagine that this would get people up dancing like Dancing Queen. This wasn't a song; it was a demo and nothing else. And you did a good job of trying to review it but you gave yourself a tough piece of work here! I liked your Super Duper play on words. And your new haircut is very fetching. I like it.
