One half of ABBA celebrated the 40th anniversary of the performance that won them the Eurovision Song Contest. Bjorn Ulvaeus and Anni-Frid Lyngstad turned out for an ABBA extravaganza on London's South Bank to mark their success when 'Waterloo' won the big prize in 1974. The band are known around the world for a large number of hit singles but Bjorn admitted it wasn't all effortless. The pair went on stage to join in the celebrations as the crowd sang Happy Birthday. The night was enjoyed with a disco of ABBA songs, cardboard cut-outs for fans to pose with, along with hotdogs and beer. Report by Claire Lomas.
