In this song Agnetha (Ang-neta)the blond, is the lead singer with Anni-Frid (Frida)darkhaired, coming in now and then. The boys Björn (Bjoern) guitar and Benny piano and keyboards joins in also. Björn writes most of the lyrics and Benny most of the music , but the girls contribute in the studio with ideas about songparts and arrangements. Björn is oldest born 1945 and Frida later same year. Benny was born 1946 and in my age. Agneta was born 1950. Björn was born in Gothenburg but grew up in Västervik. Frida was born in northern Norway but grew up in Sweden. Benny was born in Stockholm. Agnetha was born in Jönköping. As I'm Swedish born and raised I've seen and listened to these guys since the 1960-ies. Björn was then in THe Hootenanny Singers and Benny in The Hep Stars. Frida started as a 14-year old girl singing in a band mostly jazz in the beginning. Agnetha was in a danceband before her solo productions in which she wrote both music and lyrics.As Björn told when they produced this latest album 'VOYAGE' it was like they just had left the studio in 1982. The girls had it and sounded as before. Their eyes met in the studio and they felt that it was as 40 years ago. Fantastic!!

You got so emotional because Abba is the best band that ever existed. I sobbed hysterically when I found out that they were reforming because it was one of the biggest wishes I’ve ever made.

When they released the first two songs in 40 years, ”I Still Have Faith in You” took a few listens for me to really appreciate but this one I loved immediately. The music , the lyrics, the production… It could be the perfect pop song. 10/10.

Abba were the soundtrack to my childhood. When I heard this, it staggered me to think they took a 40 year break. This could have easily been recorded in the 70's, classic Abba.

Empress Joy-Jean you have been touched by ABBA angels ,they entered your ears commanded your mind and danced in your heart ,they have been doing this to me for 47 years (I am 61) and your tears for this song prove you will never be the same again ,in a wonderful fantastic way .they didn't have to modernise the songs because they are TIMELESS THEY ARE ABBA.40 years are but 40 heart beats to them ,and we get to live twice.I still have tears in my eyes after 2 weeks of listening to these 2 new songs.

I didn't realise it till you said it, but it's almost like ABBA are knocking on our door, and asking if we will let them back in. As if there is any doubt!!

This album will undoubtedly sell millions of copies & we are all commenting on it trying to think of something more brighter to think about & ABBA have done just that, made us all happy with their beautiful sound. Hey, there was in interview with Agnetha Fältskog on radio today, where she said she had been watching reaction videos of their new songs. She said she found it difficult to grasp how people from all around the world was so moved by their new music. So perhaps she has watch your video!

IMAGINE working very closely from childhood with a group of friends and saying goodbye to them now and meeting up again to work with them again in the year....... 2060 when you are all in your 70's and that is what has happened here, my friend. The year 2060 would be a parallel experience which is why Abba's millions of Worldwide fans, like me, have lumps in their throats now :)

I was thrilled that you understood the meaning of this song so early in the lyrics: it's a love song to their fans, and hoping they will still accept them even though they (and we) are not the same. I wonder if the line about them being "decoded" refers to their comeback "live" performance where they'll appear as digital avatars of their younger selves? Their new songs are melancholy, sensational, magical and completely unreal wonderful. I myself am 60 years old and have been there from the beginning. They were unique when they made an impact and that keeps them. I still have all their LP and cassettes at my old turntable from that time. Legends never stop singing. Dont worry, you're not the only one that gets emotional when watching this. Abba was just a bit before my time, but naturally because of this my mom was a gigantic Abba fan. When I was young she would constantly have Abba playing in the house. I also remember she had lots of memorabilia as well. While I enjoyed the songs very much, I always looked forward listening to my own music at night with my ear phones because she didnt care for metal too much. Unfortunately she passed away about 6 years ago. When I heard this song for the first time, the only thing I could think of is her. I love this song and she would have loved it too. Especially since the lyrics obviously are a heartwarming and deeply emotional message directly from them to their fans. I can see her now balling her eyes out listening to it and thus it gets my eyes flowing too. It just goes to show you how perfect Abba is and how meaningful and timeless their music really is. Its absolutely amazing, Bravo Abba!

its wonderful to see such a genuine and emotional reaction to this song. i have been a fan since the beginning and never thought this reunion would ever happen. when i heard both these new songs i cried like a baby. it was like seeing and old friend or relative i had not seen in 40 yrs. i still cry at this song. its an instant ABBA classic masterpiece. ABBA came along just at the right time after what the world has gone thru the last 18 months. it gives me hope and optimism of a brighter tomorrow. thank god for ABBA and their unique talents of songwriting. producing and singing. there will never be another group like this in the history of music this has been the comeback of the century and the best songs released this year by far. viva ABBA forever!!!
