Agnetha is 71 years old right now and Ann-Frid is 75, her 76th B-day will be this November. The use of ILM technique of "Performance Capture" was used to create the avatars. So what we are seeing is actually them singing and performing. All gestures are them on stage.

I think that Frida put in her two big sorrows in her life losing both her husband to cancer and daughter in a traffic acident and we all can feel it.

The clips are from the past. The ending is the Abbatar's (Avatar) that have been created for their concert in the ABBA stadium in London. The Abbatar's are to represent going to see ABBA as they looked in the 70's.

Their new songs are melancholy, sensational, magical and completely unreal wonderful. I myself am 60 years old and have been there from the beginning. They were unique when they made an impact and that keeps them. I still have all their LP and cassettes at my old turntable from that time. Legends never stop singing. ABBA started 1972. The two couples are not married any longer but still dear friends. Björn (Bjoern) and Agnetha (Ang-neta), have two children together Linda and Christian and grandchildren so they meet now and then. Now this latest production VOYAGE was made in 5 weeks of hard work 8 hours aday as Björn and Benny told. They were all surprised of how easy everything was like they left the studio last week and not 1982. Since they are very talented and intelligent people they succeded with an album. I've listened to these people since the 60-ies. I'm in the same age as Benny. Björn is born 1945 and oldest and Frida is born later same year. Benny is born 1946 and Agnetha 1950. Björn was in The Hootenanny Singers in the 1960-ies and Benny in The Hep Stars. The girls were vocalists in different dancebands. Anni-Frid started as a 14-year old vocalist mostly singing jazz in the beginning. Agneta was in a danceband, but has produced some recordings as soloartist too, writing both notes and lyrics.

In this song Anni-Frid (Frida) , darkhaired, is the lead singer, with Agnetha (Ang-neta), blond, coming in now and then.The boys Björn (Bjoern) guitar and Benny piano and keyboards joins in also. Björn writes most of the lyrics and Benny most of the music , but the girls contribute in the studio with ideas about songparts and arrangements. Björn is oldest, born 1945 and Frida later same year. Benny is born 1946, and in my age. Agneta is born 1950. Björn is born in Gothenburg but grew up in Västervik. Frida is born in northern Norway but grew up in Sweden. Benny is born in Stockholm. Agnetha is born in Jönköping. I've seen and listened to these guys since the 1960-ies. Björn was then in The Hootenanny Singers and Benny in The Hep Stars. Must say I loved your reaction. It made me feel full of joy. Just to say that the voice is that of Frida and the concert in the end is from their new hologram concert that will take place in a arena in London shortly. Filmed with 160 cameras during 5 days with the members doing all the songs with sensors attached to their bodies. They made them look just as we remember them. Youthful and full of energy. Björn now is 76 years old, Frida 75, Benny 74 and Agneta 71. The new album is coming the 5th of november. Cant wait, so exicited! For sure they still have it in them.

What you are seeing are their avatars, or ABBAtars, that will be performing at the concerts starting in May next year. They are building a new arena for the purpose. ABBA was active during my childhood and this moves me in ways I never expected. They are also the reason why I love Home Free, who just like ABBA move me with their harmonies and arrangements and the soul and heart they put into their music. Something like 'Dancing Queen' had about 13 tracks on it, but here they rely completely on the truth of the voice in the moment. And they can still out-sing most of the opposition.

They were huge in Australia, that balcony crowd scene was in Melbourne. Current ages are Agnetha 71, Benny 74, Frida 75 and Bjorn 76. I saw Simon and Garfunkel when they toured Australia in 2009. They were both 67 at the time. Art couldn’t quite get all the notes but it was still angelic and I’m sure my brain made me hear what I wanted to hear anyway!

Maybe you and Abba can be digitalized, and i can be digitalized as a famous fan, and we can go on forever :D ...dont shut us down!

Great reaction. I'ts Frida singing a brand new song, but the concert section portrays them as avatars. This is not what they look like now, it's them as they used to look like, but reconstructed digitally.
