You can hear Frida on many of these new songs, she still has that warm, velvety, calming tone in her voice, I also notice their swedish accents are more prevelant on these songs.

When they last released an album, I was 10. I'm now 50. This is something I thought I would never see. It was hinted at by the band, then promised, but covid put paid to it for a while. I wasn't sure they could still do it at their age. Well, they can and they have. Most of this album is absolutely excellent! Just listen to those harmonies! They, wisely, haven't followed modern trends. They have been Abba, and I, for one, have been grateful for that. Welcome back and I hope for another album! Don't stop it here!

i don't normally 'allow' anything to do with christmas before 01 december. i don't even mail the few cards that i do send out until they can get a december franking. abba of course are the exception. this song is playing on and on and on. thank god for the repeat button and i don't have to jump up to my old turntable and risk scratching the vinyl every time. thank you abba for this beautiful song. what an amazing band of people. what an amazing time to be alive and relishing in new music from what is clearly a beloved group by so many of us.

The outro with the children choir is genius! Suitable for a Christmas song, very reminiscent of the choir in ‘I Have A Dream’ and especially acts as a perfect transition into the next song on the album which is ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’ with its opening line “A while ago I heard the sound of children’s laughter, now it’s quiet so I guess they left the park”. ABBA storytelling at its best!

I cannot believe, that I can enjoy ABBA again, I still remember dancing with my mama trough the living room at ABBA songs. This specific song makes weary and melancholy longing for my childhood we’re I would be anxious to open my gifts.

The entire Voyage, every single song, is absolutely amazing, coming to us from ABBA, all four of these beautiful people now in their 70's. Amazingly outstanding.
