Chiquitita was one of those Abba songs where every element came together perfectly. Whilst they had many, many great songs, this one was one of their most perfectly crafted ones. It has the 'it' factor much like Dancing Queen had.
I just love this song. Definitely one of my favourites. Loved the reactions. I love how you two connect so well thru music. My son and I were like that but he passed at 17. You are so lucky to have such a lovely boy, and he is very lucky to have you. 🇨🇦🖖🏻😊
Yes, the piano is really amazing.. its like pouring water in a river stream sometimes. I think it's hard to choose "a best" album by Abba. They all depend on what stage of life you yourself are in, I think. They speak to different life situations, and different musical maturity perhaps. Anyway, great review, thanks!
Great reaction Guys! reason for the Snowman: this was a segment filmed for a European tv show called "Snowtime Special: ABBA in Switzerland" filmed in Leysin, Switzerland & shown on European tv in 1979 "Chiquitita" was written & recorded in late 1978 & released as a single in early '79 it was their current single release when this tv show was filmed & this video was used everywhere at the time to promote the song *there is also another, wonderful clip of Abba performing it at the actual Unicef concert
I love it too❤! This one was a great success in Latin America too (the spanish version)... The royalties from this song, donated to Unicef by ABBA, now far exceed 4 million dollars, which have been and continue to be used for the protection of girls at social risk. Great song and great reaction 👍 yes this was one of their best materpieces. You're right. It showcases all 4 talent. I always get a giggle when i see Frida fighting with her hair through out.The hair always wins lol. This was done in Switzerland hence the mountains and snowman. It was a UNICEF concert and benefit. All proceeds of the song to this day go to UNICEF and Frida is still a UNICEF ambassador. Take care
