Hey man, just wanted to extend my personal thanks to you for you kind words to me. Obviously, I love jamming when the opportunity arises, & always love playing Beatles. Although I'm guilty of my share of flubs, I appreciate your comment .

Maybe if you can't get players to celebrate John's birthday or his memorial, you can bring some recorded backing (instrumental)tracks,play them from a cell phone patched to a small portable battery speaker(YT has a bunch of really good isolated tracks you can use), get a few of your friends gathered to join you on the vocals & who knows, it could be start of something nice that grows into something else. Just a thought amigo. All you need is the will, a cool spot & the love for the music - I know you have already. Take care & good luck !

Maybe find a stage to run through some Beatles numbers to bring a bit of joy to a small crowd. Nothing I can do that can't be done, nothing I can sing that can't be sung! He's obviously not a professional, just a fan like everyone else. It isn't a tribute band.

@@TheSanityInspector I get it, but there’s still something to be said about ruining a nice moment between musicians because you have to hear yourself all the time. Loudest guy there, least talented there. But we all have to be winners these days. Participation trophy generation

Sun King and Polythene Pam were John's, and he said he was jealous of Paul for the lyrics of "The End."

Think John did Because, Mean Mr. Mustard and Polythene Pam...Because may be the only song attributed to all of them though. John heard Yoko playing Moonlight Sonata and it inspired Because.

John did several pieces of the medley George Martin was a key in assembling it from Paul’s idea, and the entire band worked on the transitions between songs. Paul was the driving force, but it was a total band effort despite John’s comments after.
