How does it destroy this or any country? Not everyone thinks and acts the same way. That's human life. Authoritarianism isn't new or great. What about freedom of speech and expression? They can't choose their outfit but you can call them unfit for employment or say they're ruining society? Try harder, please.

It's not abnormal for some people to be different from most. It's actually rather nonsensical to suggest otherwise. And "normal" isn't any one thing and it can be wrong. Slavery was normal.

Yeah, I’m extremely pissed off about that and I align with the right on most issues except foreign aid and wars. But wtf does a ban on gender non-conforming “behavior” for teachers mean???? That’s extremely broad so I don’t like the sound of this either. I liked DeSantis’ ban on discussing s3x of any kind (gay or straight) with kids bc that’s extremely straight forward but a ban on gender non-conforming “behavior”??? I mean, I’m not a girly girl - e.g. I hate pink - but I know what fxcking bathroom to use and am not confused in any way. But I’m still a “tomboyish” woman (I’m 53, btw). You know what? It doesn’t even matter. He violated his oath to defend the U.S. Constitution (the first amendment, obviously) and he can go to H3ll. I’m never voting for him again.
