@@melissa_wale_official Red Skelton ( Note: Skelton, not skeleton) had brilliant old radio and TV shows. Update : LOL; they literally reference Red Skelton in this episode.
one of the pleasures of radio that tv can' t match is that it allows our imagination (the best writer) to travel while the show is going on--its a rich experience. can you imagine text kids (and parents, lets not kid ourselves) sitting still enough to listen to this. they miss so much
I just love all these old time radio programs but my favorites are the great Abbott & Costello programs! To bad they don't have a special channel for just these great comedies!
Thanks for sharing, I wasn't born when OTR was popular, but I love it. I really enjoy listening to it and picturing their actions. I am in my 60's and thoroughly enjoy it. My daughter in her 40's loves it too. Thanks so much for sharing, I appreciate it very much.
Never thought when I was younger I would listend to radio shows when I got older,. I tried one a while back and got hooked! Really like the Horror shows that were produced in the late 30's and 40's. Thanks so much for listening!
I love playing the Fallout games and silencing the music while playing these radio shows in the background. It really fits the post-apocalyptic mood and they're entertaining to boot!
Ive got my purple lights, orange pumpkin lights, pirate head lights all strung. Mister Skeleton hung in my tree. I just made a scarycrow in a trench coat and boots and leather gloves, skeleton head and a tophat! Courtesy of the US Navy bootcamp! This old radio show is perfect!!
@@OTRHALLOWEENHOLIDAZE since Covid our town decided if you wanna participate... decorate or hang lights up. We sit in our driveways with little bonfires in a fire pit. I love dressing up! Pirates or hobo are my Go To’s !!
