Abby my view of you when I watched the show is so different from how I see you now. You had to be hard to make incredible dancers but also STRONG women. Now you went too far a lot with them but they are absolutely thriving in their careers!!!

I'm not sticking up for Abby or anything but I agree that this is what production wanted. The production needed ratings, and a show just about girls dancing is boring. They needed drama, they needed fighting, and things to keep people talking. If you listen to interviews with the moms, production would tell them to fight or start an argument ect... unfortunate that it became such a toxic thing for the girls because they were good. The industry ruins people and IS toxic, sadly.

I agree with Abby, it's a shame some of the girls refer to their time on the show as "toxic." There is going to be friction between any elite athlete and their coach, and training is going to be unfair and painful at times. The mothers should be adult enough to know this, as well as to know they're on a reality show designed to generate drama that should not be taken seriously. The mothers should give their kids perspective and instruct their kids to be gracious whenever they talk about their time on the show.

Abby you won’t remember me but you came to a show I was in that your former student was also in. After the show I approached you as you were chatting to your former student who is also my friend (and fellow cast member) and said “Hi Abby, sorry to bother you but I just wanna say I loved dance moms and really respect what you do” Your response to me (I still had makeup on, I had my cast lanyard on, your former student even introduced me and told you my name) you said in response to me “You were in the show?” in a very condescending tone with a condescending look on your face and then you just turned and pretended I didn’t exist. I find it ironic you talk about how your student from ALDC LA said hi to former OG dance mom girls and the response they got was rude and yet you do the exact same thing to anyone you perceive as beneath you. I might not have been on a reality show and have 4 million followers but I am a professional dancer and you couldn’t dance your way out of a paper bag (we’ve all seen the video of you “dancing” when you were young) Maybe learn some humility and respect the people who give you time of day cuz when this dance moms wave fizzles out, no one will remember you for a bar of soap. You wonder why the girls “distanced” themselves from you, you should perhaps reflect on your behaviour and see what you did that might’ve caused that. If to become a dance teacher you needed to have been a professional dancer or at least good dancer as a minimum requirement, you would never have been a teacher. My dance teacher was a prima ballerina (Beverly Jane Fry to be specific), very strict and scarier than you by ten fold but she would NEVER be unprofessional and talk down to someone who just came to express respect for her work, especially at an eventlike the professional musical production like that.

Cathy and Black Patsy (such a dumb name), made complete idiots of themselves whenever when they were together. They were just stupid and immature.
