And He created you, and strengthened you (of course, (sigh) as with everyone, it had to be the hard way), but with your heart, voice, head & hands you lead so many others to the light of day. According to the bible, God isn't a fan of homosexuality. And although it doesn't fit the norm or coincide with how we were designed, I don't think God really has a problem with it. I believe it was men who wrote the bible that made that assertion.

Matt Pike I believe God cannot reasonably be put in or confined in a box/book. I was taught God does not change. I believe that is true (I could be wrong), but no one will ever know God in that complexity. Our brains/our human biases would numb our minds to the beauty, majesty & depth of God's love. We don't even have words to describe the unlimited dimensions and ability to know of God's love. So much is by the touch of the Holy Spirit, without words. And still, it's amazing, life changing & powerful, but we're human beings, by nature, of course, we're limited. We need/are stronger with a daily hand in hand walk with God. God's not asking us to be perfect; He knows that's impossible. He loves us as we are/He does not want us to be alone without love. Just as with Adam & Eve, God said "it is not well for man to be alone". We all were created with a need to be paired with a helpmate. "Gay" love isn't about sex. Any and all Love is about Love. So many straight, etc, people pair up thinking they're in love & find out otherwise, we're all in the same boat! Same thing! Love surpasses gender, love surpasses time itself, love surpasses even death. I know, because I'm a widow. And I know, as devoted & intense as that love is/was, I am free to love again. (I married into an Italian Catholic family & I am 66 & having a riot of fun, family overflowing. Like all families, the heartbreak of life mixed with the fight to survive laughing ten times harder & shining brighter, new babies, determination to learn how to love better, listen better. We've had a death from Aids, overdose, war, generations of immigrants; typical American family.)

@@mattpike5264 more like people in the church dont like homosexuality because if you dont create new life, you dont create new donations to the church. Those massive churches in Europe dont get built for free back then and the megachurches in Texas dont now. Congregations are built on generations of big families full of things like "family values" and "money".
