The irony of the “Say No to Drugs” line is that some of the wrestlers were involved in some doping scandal. “U.S. vs Vince McMahon” was one such case, and it was an open secret some wrestlers took steroids.

Masyadong bata ako dito, namiss out ko ung Attitude era pero yung mga uncle ko nag-enjoy sila diyan. 2003 yung una akong nanood ng WWE - sobrang Idol ko sila Brock Lesnar at Goldberg nun.

WOW 😯😮😲😍, I got a memory flashbacks of this. Dun ako nag simula na pagkahilig sa wrestling more than 20 years ago. I got countless memories of watching WWF in ABC-5 in my years, from chair shots to the head up to The Rock, Undertaker, Stone Cold segments, various matches, and Say no to Drugs PSA. Oh speaking of 'Say no to Drugs' I recalled that the late great Owen Hart did included in one of the said PSA's in which the only time he tell the viewers (in off-character mode) that stay away from strangers and stay away from drugs before his tragic passing some months later (R.I.P.) 🙏😔🕯️

Now for something related to wrestling. Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling aired on ABC 5. It featured Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Captain Lou Albano, Mean Gene Okerlund, The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, The Fabulous Moolah, The Junkyard Dog, Big John Studd, and Hillbilly Jim.

Nice I have no idea at the WWE specifically the Attitude Era ay nasa ABC 5 dati. I was started watching WWE during the Ruthless Aggression Era which na aired on Solar/Jack TV I may not watched Stone Cold during his prime in the Attitude Era, but, good thing I've watched his last 2 matches against The Rock (WrestleMania 19) & Kevin Owens (WrestleMania 38)

WWE Attitude ERA was in ABC 5 while Ruthless Agression era started in Solar then PG ERA started in studio 23 until FOX give the rights to WWE programming

OMG. So before ABC 5 partnered with Solar for WWE (NBA and House of Hoops) in 2007 & TV5 airing Smackdown before ESPN5, nag-Singko na pala ang wrestling.

Dahilan kung bakit tanghali na tayo nagigising pag Linggo, hahaha!

First this was aired on IBC in late 80’s/early 90’s. That was a decade when Undertaker debuted as creepy & scary. Then ABC took over. In every pre-commercial break, there were greetings from wrestlers telling pinoy viewers “just say no to drugs” even all the way to RPN9. I always think of the similarly of wrestlers. For instance, The Rockers looks like The Hardy Boyz due to acrobatic moves then The Bushwackers looks like The Dudley Boyz due to obese wrestlers. Speaking of Bushwackers, When they visited PH as part of WWF World Tour, they became guest in Ate Ludz show Eye to Eye along with Anjo Yllana as another guest. One of them tongue-lick Anjo’s face.

Tama nga ako!!! Na yung World Wrestling Federation ay sa ABC 5! Childhood memories ito kasi kahit babae ako ay pinapanuod namin ito ng tatay ko. Ang commercials nito ay ang "infamous" Encarnacion Bechaves at Family Rubbing Alcohol (occasionally yung long version)

Ironic that ABC is still using 1997 WWF stock footage material with 1999 WWF promos. EDIT: The Rock is the intercontinental champion based as sinabi niya, so ABC is a year late in storyline. By '99, he should've been the world champion. Still doesn't answer why they're using footage from early 1997.
