Dale from the Aussievision team discusses the Eurovision 2024 Grand Final result on ABC national news covering the winner Switzerland, Croatia, Ireland and the Israel and EBU controversy.
Thank you Australia 🇦🇺 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 12 points … we have a great taste in music 🎶👍🍾🥂🤗😘sorry 10 points , 12 go to Switzerland 🇨🇭. Congratulations to 🇨🇭. Love it
A very nice winner. Dressed like a child getting ready to go to kindergarten. Performance: spins on a satellite dish and runs headlong around the stage. Thank you for your comment. You are experts in appearance, and the people are crazy, so they don't see how smart you are. Greetings from Croatia.
Are Australia glad they voted to the woke song straight outta Golan Heights thanks to Murdoch Media? Unsubstantiated lyrics, unchartable in ARIA either.
What a disgusting view you have about the censoring of Booing to a 20 year old artist who don't deserve it. You actually view it as propaganda? Because in reality, it's simply giving everyone a fair fight, you know the results would've been much affected by the booing, for the better or worse. This was to make sure all artists have the same footing. Shame on you for supporting the boycott of a young girl.
Eden is 20 - she's not a teenager, she can vote, drink, have sex and drive a car. She chose to sing a propanganda song, the Israeli leader chose to promote it. She was confined to her hotel room despite the propanganda. She also chose to live in Russia. Israel is making bad choices in Gaza. Choices have consequences.
Faking a response by a crowd is misinformation. It is not the reality. These are not performances that live in a vacuum they involve the live crowd. By faking what the crowd response is that is not a fair playing field otherwise you'd give everyone the equal "cheering" which is as ridiculous as it sounds. ~ Dale
@@Aussievisionnet What YOU'RE saying is ridiculous. Based on what you said the fan favorite should always win because it doesn't matter what the crowd at home thinks, only the euro superfans who are screaming their loudest at the venue. You are also implying that politics SHOULD be involved, because if the crowd shows support to, say, Ukraine.. then according to the cheering in the venue the people at home should also be affected by it? And not judging by the song? Seriously, you need to get checked.
@@Aussievisionnet And btw, eurovision is not a news source. You don't watch it to know what the crowd thinks and vote accordingly, you should leave politics out and vote if you liked the song. Saying this is misinformation is ridiculous because the point of eurovision isn't to inform you. It's about music. Hypocrite.
