Most young people and smart people in Russia support Ukraine, or more accurately they are against the war and not necessarily against Russia. You can be Patriotic and Russian and against the war Russia is waging against their neighbor. The Russians that support Putin and the war are the Russians that believe the Russian government's propaganda. These Russians are basically the same kinds of people in America and Europe that watch and believe everything they see on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, and Vox/NewsWeek/WashPost/DailyMail/Guardian, etc.
So 😔 sad. My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine and for the Russian citizens who are in support. It's painful to watch these innocent people and their children 💔 go through this. God protect his people 🙏 ❤ 🙌.
I thought Sen. Bill Cassidy made some pretty valid points. Although I voted for Biden, and am not a Republican, I appreciate dialogue like this where it can be critical or showing frustration that doesn't involve some hateful, or uninformed opinion. I'm not sure what the correct step forward should be, but I support our country (USA), allies, and Ukraine. To the people of Russia, and the embarrassing parts of my own country who support Putin and his unlawful, cruel actions... Please think about the golden rule we all should hope to live by, which is; do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I'm not religious, and you don't have to be to choose to be a good person. How can we allow such violent injustices in modern times?

I agree but this is very hard to watch our countries stand by and do nothing but talk about sanctions. Putin banks on the fact that the USA fears a nuclear war and China joining Russia. Actually, the solution is simple. Only Nato and European countries can stop this war. Give in to Russia request and stop expanding Nato near its border. If everyone wants a security guarantee, then discuss making a new agreement that benefits everyone. Stop the war. Especially G7 countries they not helping the situation. Instead of making it worse for Ukrainians, don't use Ukraine as your pawn against Russia. In the end, innocent people become victims. Start dialogue with Russia and bring them back to the Peace table.
