ABC Promo Feed Fall 1981 new shows via Closed Circuit 

I currently work in on-air operations for an ABC affiliate in Missouri, and I was aware of these kinds of transmissions since I started there, but I never had the chance to watch one from start to finish. I mean, the ones today can run for 30+ minutes at a time. Thank you for posting videos like this.

We thank you for posting this, and when we used to live in Arizona back then, KTVK used its local version of ABC's campaign slogan for its then ABC Affiliate in Phoenix. And the circle element does not have an "ABC" inside its logo graphic elements following "Now Is The Time, as the ABC Stations insert their own TV Channel Numbers inside the circle, and without the circle in its graphic elements from the ABC Closed Circuit, as the 1981-82 TV Season was coming. This was also known as the ABCDEF (ABC Daily Electronic Feed).

Amazing you can pick out the cast of many of the ABC shows from that time--Taxi, Happy Days, Hart to Hart, Barney Miller etc

Now is the time for the 70’s to meet the ‘80’s but ABC wasn’t the place to promote Three’s Company. I can’t imagine why 😉
