The 50s family watching that 80s tv show cracks me up. And how the hell did that puppy get in the car, anyway? But oh well, what a gorgeous jingle! Maureen McGovern is a goddess! I remember well the promo featuring the parking attendant. We never missed "Dynasty", either! Thank you so much for posting these! I've wanted to see them again for years!!
Literally got tears in my eyes I miss you mama grandmama my sister my nephew all was alive during this time we used to all watch TV I literally look for this promo for 30 years thanks to whoever posted THIS these were very special times I remember the promo like yesterday
I've seen The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with M*A*S*H's Loretta Swit and Disney's Return to Oz's Fairuza Balk, which aired on ABC that season during Christmas Time.
Some of the Great ABC Saturday Morning Line-Up's that Debuted on September 10'th 1983 The Best of Scooby-Doo The Monchhichis/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show The Pac-Man/Rubik, the Amazing Cube Hour The Littles The Puppy's Further Adventures The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show
You sure that's Maureen McGovern? To me, it sounds more like Florence Warner. The promo was one of six campaigns produced for ABC by Frank Gari Productions. Florence worked with Gari and performed for many of his image campaigns. Not saying you're wrong. I've just been having trouble finding information about this promo. All I know for sure is that Gari produced it.
There are all the 3 Networks from the 1983-1984 Fall Season ABC's 1983-1984 Fall Campaign That Special Feeling NBC's 1983-1984 Fall Campaign Be There CBS's 1983-1984 Fall Campaign We've Got the Touch
Hi there. I can confirm that Maureen McGovern is the singer on the first and last nicely produced ABC image campaign promos from featured here. She sang on several of the versions. JimMastersTV.
If I recall, she actually sang this song during one of the ABC specials that they had introducing the season line-up. I tried to find it. I love this song and wish she had released it as a single.
