I’ve heard this all my life. I was raised by my grandparents. My grandfather was a preacher of an Independent Baptist Church. He was always preaching for people to repent because we were in end times. That was 74 years ago. I’m in my 80s now. I know I’m in my end times but not sure the world is. I’m a follower of Christ (I don’t call myself a Christian because that emphasizes religion and not spirituality) and have been prepared for a long time.

Both of them should take the Alabama and Louisiana 1960s era voter literacy tests. Given their current / former position they should be able to pass the Alabama test with a 100% score in about 2 minutes.
