I am so sick of hearing the phrase "timing it out" when referring to reporting on the weather. When did that become a thing? Reporters are doing their job, "reporting". While reporting on the weather, giving the audience a timeline is what's called a "weather forecast", not timing it out. Timing it out is a stupid phrase and I wish news anchors would stop doing it.
