I don’t normally watch mainstream media but when I seen David Muir pop up on my phone I said aww my mama loved you David, she was mostly blind but she had to watch you every night!! She took a bad fall last year and didn’t make it out of the hospital. While she was there I tried finding your newscast but unfortunately I couldn’t find it, but she had watched or should I say listened to you forever ❤

My understanding is that it's normal for the police to investigate crimes before they actually file charges, and even after people are charged, they're jailed pending trial only if they're dangerous, a flight risk, too poor to post bail, or violate the conditions of their bail. So, isn't it completely normal for people to be free until they're actually convicted and sentenced? If so, why do people immediately start saying, "Why isn't he in jail?" as soon as they find out that someone has committed a crime? :-)

He definitely accrued a lot of points and the fact that it's on camera means... No one will insure him for a long time. I agree a license suspension should be the minimum for reckless driving, speeding and the other myriad of traffic laws I'm sure were violated

Agreed, on all points made! He also should get busted for leaving the scene of an accident. He’s lucky no one was seriously injured or killed. They’d nail him for vehicular manslaughter, and then he’d really be screwed! Most people don’t run from the scene of an accident, especially when they’re famous, and they’re leaving their expensive exotic car behind. It’s not as of the cops can’t figure out who he is, and everyone has a camera these days, so why be so stupid? The only reason that I can come up with is if he’d been out drinking… in that case he might be better off walking away. He has the money for a top notch attorney (apparently he has one now), and he’s famous enough that he was able to go on tv and do the apology tour…

At the onset of 2024, I decided that there needed to be a change in my source for world news. Eight years ago, I moved away from a city with its on an ABC affiliate. After leaving, I turned to an NBC station for my nightly news. However, in January of 2024, I cut the satellite cable and decided to rely on RU-vid for the broadcast of news of world events. That's when I rediscovered ABC, and I am so glad I did! In less than two hours after live broadcast, I am able to say "Hi, David" and only pay for the data that my cellphone uses during the "commercial free" news cast! Data, by the way, I was already paying for! Now, I don't plan on ever moving to another town/city, nor evening news broadcast! So, "Hi David; I am so glad we have found our together home"!

Rice fled the scene of the accident to avoid drunk driving charges possibly to sober up and avoid losing his drivers license..tired of celebrities or sports figures getting special treatment if he doesnt get jail time as he could have caused deaths here. I visited Taiwan in 2013 and stayed in Hualien near Toroko Natl. Park. The cliffside roads and tunnels on the way to Toroko are pretty wild, some really rugged mountains. I can only imagine how bad it was there with all the rockslides from the quake. That boulder heading for the car...yikes!

Well, even if there are clouds, it will still be an awesome effect....it will still get extremely dark in the middle of the day, if you're in the path of totality...but there will be TV coverage I believe on the weather channel, if they can get to the all clear zone
