Check out ABC7 Chicago Meteorologist Greg Dutra's surprise when he found something out his television had a touch screen while live on the air. | MORE: abc7.com/meteorologist-greg-d...
That high pitched "no waaaaaay" is what makes it. He has to be so level with his voice all the time on the news that immediate kid learning stuff mode activates when something as simple as a touch screen is realized. Then he gets to _tilt the screen_ and it all clicks. He realized his job just got both more fun and productive. No need to rely on anyone else moving the screen for him, no remotes. He just fwhoop and it's precisely how he needs it to do his work. 100% he played with it for a while after filming to really get a hold on how to use it. Good for him.
Turn to Christ, and repent and turn from all sin and unprofitable things, so you can be forgiven and seen righteous in his eyes, to the only one that matters. Everything on this earth will be destroyed, lost, rot and rust but with him you will be renewed, where death has no sting, fear is beaten, peace that surpasses all understanding, He gave his life for us, let us give ours in return, and live for him, so we can be after his own heart, to be accepted by the King the greatest honor.
@@manender1020 Propaganda that promises eternal salvation and peace through the Savior Christ? that only yields good things for you? which makes you a righteous person, not bound by sins? you do not know what you speak against.
I love when the other guy comes in the first guy goes, “You can go ANYWHERE you want”. Like he’s teaching his coworker about something he himself just discovered 4 seconds ago, haha
It's amazing how much we revert to literal children when happiness is high enough, isn't it? Even from seemingly minor events. This is why I believe in God, despite living a life as a steadfast Atheist
what the hell is he talking about, it’s like saying “I don’t believe in god, but after dropping my phone into a sewer vent, I pray to him everyday, Amen”
For me " reverting back as a little kid " seems to be the trick for a happy life. It doesn't happen to me every day but whenever it happens, life seems meaningful. However, this only happens spontaneously. Another point and I don't want to sound religious here : I remember Jesus said in the Bible " Unless you become like children, you will not experience the Kingdom of God " or something like that. This for me is an eternal truth.
@@Sam-nb8evI think when he said that it was a parable. Yahawashi was big on using parables. Like how you was a kid before and you have to learn everything. Well you have to go back to that beginning and relearn everything from YAH. The whole concept of being born again. When you are born the first time you was a child. So to be born again is to figuratively revert back to that point.
Underrated aspect: The animations didnt have to completely reload as he did any of those movements. They kept ticking like nothing happened. Accidentally unveiling 'new' tech in the public eye isnt supposed to work so smoothly haha. Thats usually exactly when its guaranteed to break the whole thing.
I think the best part about this is how it seems like no one else on the crew realized it's a touch screen either, so the entire crew all learned at this same time that it indeed have touch capabilities
To me most weather forcast reporters have to rely on the green screen or what the studio can offer but to get a touchscreen TV is basically a godsend since they don't have to struggle to adjust based on the limitation. This by the way should be done to all weather forecast in other studios too.
@@CorundromI guess the TV was newly placed there some weeks or months ago and she knew that it was a touch screen, he not. Also, it's not only important that the TV is a touch screen, but that the program running the weather report is touch sensitive. So maybe he didn't knew that they had upgraded the app.
I absolutely love when they have moments like this. So often they're always so overly professional (understandably so, it is a job after all), to see them have moments like this is just so heart warming.
Real talk, as a software developer, this is the shit I live for. You get really jaded with limitations, but then you push a feature and it just blows someones mind. It's nice to remember when tech was still magical.
Nobody wants to innovate anymore because if you do then you're gonna be expected to innovate again in a couple years and that sounds like hard work, easier to just release a new model every year that only slightly moves the needle. Still waiting for all these bendable phones that were supposed to come out like 4 years ago.
Man, I hear you on that. Even when you've been in it for a while, you can still have your mind blown. We started using Nomad at work to schedule services and batch processes recently, and I got giddy from the excitement. Going from batch-scripts-and-TeamCity-webhooks land to Nomad+Consul has been like someone reinvented computers for me. "If I can make a Docker container out of this, I can 100% stand this up in a hundred datacenters worldwide and not give a fuck what architecture we have there or what OS the workload has to run on or what special devices this shit might need" is liberating AF
His fellow anchor just falling on the floor 😂 This is so darn cute. “Just because you’re getting older, doesn’t mean you have to get old”- Larry from the Disney movie ‘Don’t Look Under The Bed’ circa 1999.
The ABC 7 crew was a joy when they came out for an interview. Very professional and down to earth and well dressed. It’s actually nice to see how well these reporters treat their camera crew
One of the most heart warming moments I've seen on YT. The sense of true discovery serving as a reminder there is still the unexpected in life. From one who has been pretty cynical and jaded for about 25 years, it actually offers hope.
I truly appreciate moments like this that takes away some of the robotic feeling and swaps it with real humanity, it's a good day when I can get a laugh from the meteorologist.
@@ACommenterOnRU-vid because work is inherently an obligation for most people, they do it to live, you feel better if you know workers are at least having fun, no?
I can tell that these guys are total gems 😭 my boyfriend acts the same way when he finds out something mind blowing lmfaooo it’s the most amazing thing
As a Chicago resident sometimes we have to look past all the violence in Chicago and just take the time out to enjoy the smaller things like what Our Chicago weatherman just did. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!
We are naturally funny people. Many iconic comedians have come from Chicago or perfected their act in the city. Second city has launched many famous comedians careers
One great thing Chicago has are awesome news anchors. Just seem so down to earth and I always look forward to the morning lineup. Makes it easier to wake up when you have great folks on tv.
Eureka! A new toy! I can only imagine how much he played with the touch screen off camera. Like a kid in the toyland! His reaction was priceless and pure joy! And his colleague's jump in and fall down simply the sweetest!
I know that feel SO WELL. This exact thing happened to me with the Nintendo Switch. I didn't know it has a touchscreen and when I discovered it, I freaked out. My friends still laugh at me for it.
I know this is a pretty old comment but to be fair, Nintendo doesn't advertise or even use the touch screen as much as they did with the DS systems. Most 1st & 3rd Party games don't have any touch controls even for the menus, so it is very easy to forget or not know that the Switch has a Touch Screen. It's a consequence of the Switch being able to connect to a TV, any mechanics using touch controls need button controls for the TV so most games don't even bother.
Awe…. I’m so happy that he accidentally found this out because his reaction was so genuine. It’s the little things in life that can bring you so much joy!😉 This video is so wholesome.🥰
The joy on him an the whole crew is amazing, bit the fact that he "broke the character", thrn realizes it ("I'm gonna figurecthis out in the next couple days (...)" to return to his professional role is also amazing.
i love how he was slowly discovering the navigations of it lol, *"oh did i just move.." "oh, can you zoom it in?" "oh! you can tilt it too?!"* hahaha just funny man 🤣
