For anyone curious about the town Abe grew up in “Levittown” it is notorious for not only being the first ever modern suburb in America, but for also pioneering alot of the systemic racism that is now associated with obtaining a house in the suburbs (for example keeping non whites from owning a home in the area). So when Abe said “one of the most racist town in NY”, he wasn’t being hyperbolic.

wingchung is a Chinese Martial arts style. (It's relatively modern.) I think Bruce Lee also used that style, then later developed his own style. I guess the more recent reference wil be the YipMan movies. (Haven't seen any of them.) But Yipman is the one of the first person that brought the style to Hong Kong and start teaching it to people which eventually spread all over the world because Bruce lee is one of the students and help popularized it.

Loll yeah when I was in esl, there was a bunch of other students in there that ONLY knew English and didn’t even speak Spanish. They were just Hispanic 😭
