What a lovely voice! Beautiful rendition of sweet lyrics. ❤️ Today has been an exceptional day for me. For the first time, I heard several songs sang by Noor Jehan Sahiba. I can't help but think how grossly over-rated Lata M. had been. Had Noor Jehan Ji stayed in India, LM would have never attained the status that she did, and the power that she gained and abused to destroy other budding talents, including Mubarak Begum, Hemlata, Vani Jairam, Meenu Purushottam and Krishna Kalle. Absolutely unforgivable!

SHAMIM ARA had some bad lucks about marriages----but good thing about her being in LONDON was that her only child, her SON , was there as she was about to leave this world. GOD BLESS SHAMIM ARA. Whenever I see SHAMIM ARA, I do get sentimental. GOD BLESS SHAMIM ARA. She brought happiness to millions by her acting and by her beauty.
