The same here. Have been listening to this song so many times. FILM SAHELI-------first movie I watched in LAHORE----in 1962.------and the words of this song are so embedded in my brain/mind.
This was the golden era of Pakistani music. I mean, sixties Saleem Raza, Madam Noor Jehan, Mehdi Hasan, Naseem Begum, Ahmed Rushdi, Mala, Munir Hussain, and Mujeeb Alam were the top singers of Pakistan. This particular ever lasting song was from the film Saheli. Whenever I listen to it, I enjoy it as I am listening to it the very first time. I miss them all. Salem Raza was a great singer. His contribution to music was phenomenal.
MY GOD------good old memories. Film SAHELI-----first movie I watched in LAHORE-----1962. Those days are gone---but not forgotten-----will never be forgotten
Takes me back in 60s what a golden era of Pakistan.... Piece ful.. fast growing economy... Emerging new international industries... Construction of dams... Water reservoirs...fast growing of agriculture happiness all over the country making Pakistan true Asian Tiger of that time.. then all of sudden everything was reversed by traitors and now we are living in uncertainty where to go and what to do??????
People say old is gold but I say this is real great golden song from great pairs like koi parwana ither aaye toh koi baat bane ,,, Darpan and Shameem very nice . Raza and Naseem sung so beautifully that made evergreen .

aah!! the time when urdu language was the symbol of decency and courtesy romance and love understanding and emotions and what not related to the psychology of a gentleman society!!
Great representation of Poetry music singers and actors. Old timers Urdu is delicate sophasticated language, correct accent is very important, which is almost vanished.
