AR, your recipe is simply awesome. My wife is out of town for the last three days, I am trying feed my toddler son. He won’t eat anything that I made for dinner or lunch. I just tried your chicken curry, he polished it off in 10 mins. The coconut milk helped cut the spice, real yummy!
She always says use regular masalas as substitute. If only half a teaspoon of AR garam masala is added, add 3/4th of regular garam masala as she says her masalas are concentrates . Same with her flavour masala.. substitute with meat masala / chicken masala . She always says this.
@Shari R in this video abida madam says that she always to try to cook in the authentic method for each recipe. These chicken or meat masalas were not available when these recipes were invented or used 20 years back. Its always better to say the ingredients in those masala for getting that true athentic recipe. Whats the point in saying chicken or meat masala as flavours are different for each brands.

What can we use instead of AR flavour masala? If its normal chilly, corriander and turmeric powder what is the quantity of each powder? Can we use kadai instead of pressure cooker
Hi maam i am big fan of you Recently madam kudutal malayalm words use cheyunnu as a fan enik ishtam an but maminte english the way of your talk is very special forme I request to you pls add more english word your presentation thankyou...
I don't buy ready made masala powders. When I come to India I buy whole chillies, coriander and tumeric and grind it. Chillies and coriander is washed and roasted before grinding to a fine powder. Also garam masala I make myself. If you do this then the flavours are 100% better than store brought powders. It is also alot more potent so you use less. Just like she has recipes handed down from her family so does most families. So when she is using her masala mixes you use yours. But if you're still in doubt buy hers and try it out. I personally wouldn't.
