After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl. This movie was better than I thought and this little girl was absolutely great in this movie and Melissa Barrera was great also and it was a great cast but overall this movie was good and I definitely would recommend

I grew up in the 80s. Back then, almost all horrorfilms were gorey. Even PG-horror like ‘Poltergeist’. That movie would definitely get an R-rating by today’s standards.

It’s been a LONG ass time but I *think* my first real horror movie was when I was 14 maybe? It was The Thing, and this was before CGI by a bit so it was as real to me as could be.

@@KainErrowyah. That’s why I get how kids are confused with horror films being an older teen/ adult only thing. When TONS of horror has children in it. Been around forever. Daveigh Chase is a good example. In 2002, she went straight from playing Lilo from Lilo& Stitch to horror.

I love horror films. But at 56 years old, I can't remember anyone slaughtering people in such a graceful way. There is something very special about being slaughtered in ballet poses. I laughed so much. Splendid.

Thinking about those vampire shark teeth as vampire dentures just makes my jaw hurt. It’s also kind of funny to remember that they really just sped up the footage to make her look so damn fast, because it’s preternatural how fast she jumps Kevin Durand in the movie vs here. My mom and I went to see Abigail in theaters two days after it came out and even though my mom doesn't really like horror films she loved this as much as I did. My mom didn't watch the trailer so she didn't know anything about the movie I'm glad it was a surprise for her it was an early birthday present for me for us to go see it in theaters since theaters nowadays cost a lot just to see a movie that's about 2 hours long. 😂

Wait, what? It has 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, 78% on Metactitic, and a. 7.6 out of 10 on iMDB. Or are you thinking of specific critics you trust the most? Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t seen it (and who’s fighting who has me rolling my eyes) but from an overhead view it seems to be pretty solid.
