I'm not an Igbo person, but I'm seriously impressed by everything I've watched in this video. Kudos to the indigenes of this beautiful place; it's a clear example of what can be achieved when a community comes together. Unlike other places where the rich have built their mansions, but completely neglect the surrounding environment in which those mansions are situated, Abiriba is different. This is a place where the people love and take pride in their town. And it's plain for all to see; from the smooth, well maintained roads, to the library, the schools and general cleanliness all over. Well done for shining a spotlight on this secretive oasis. Other places in Nigeria can learn so much from Abiriba.

The most impressive thing is not the big mansions, its the organization. Adhering to road setouts thereby creating a beautiful sight during your drive around. No way this was achieved without some communal planning and coordination. That means there is a strong group or communal organization in the community.
@chukschuks5069
@chukschuks5069 8 месяцев назад
impressed with what i see of Abiriba, but the perfectionist in me sees a few little things that if done would make the villa look even better. like you said, there is a communal effort to plan the villa well. this should be extended to ensure ALL inner roads are done well and uniformly with a well trimmed grassy set-back of about ten meters on either side (space permitting). all the roads should be swept clean regulary so there's no sand/sediment build-up. all the roads should have streetlights installed. where space permits, trees can be planted uniformly to improve ambience. they should try and clear a communal space for a small park where families, friends and visitors can go to chill and where events can be held. and finally, they should invest more in their primary and secondary schools as from what i'm seeing they look a bit neglected. that being said, they should be commended on what they've achieved so far.

You did excellent job with the video love it.All Igbo Men and Women should watch this video and go back to their home town and start developing their home town because no place like home.Igbo’s should stop building and developing Abuja, Lagos, etc. When you visit their home town absolutely nothing, and guess what? When the so called government comes in they will demolish it. And then my brother will become like Aaron, you will see the promise Land but you will not enter inside it. Majority of them are fraudsters, ritualist in Lagos, like the billionaire kidnapper Evan’s,You seem them selling fake products killing thousands of Nigerians because they want to be rich desperately. We know know how Igbo people act in Lagos and in the western countries stealing luxury cars like range rovers, Audi and others to sell in nigeria.

Can i call it a Village town but one thing i didnt like is that they spent less in the academic sector. Hmmmm.... check the past ten years overallinter-state academic achievement in Nigeria and tell me that Igbos don’t invest in education. Jamb, GCE.... will shock you. Igbos that are traders whom many call illiterates do something which many seem not to know. They sacrifice their time to gain wealth and pour it on their offsprings. Many attend the choicest private schools because they can afford it.

Thanks for subscribing to our channel. Predominately the good people of Abiriba, besides living in trading cities of west Africa have mainly been domicile in the city of Aba, the commercial center of Abia State. Predominately they engage in trading and manufacturing business. On the average every successful Abiriba businessman raises so many other people from his community, transferring his business knowledge through mentorship and apprentice system. This is a very powerful system that have proven successful and yes it is comparable to the system of growth adopted by the good people of Nnewi the commercial center of Amambra. The success of Abiriba people is dependent on hardwork and trust system developed over the years. You will find the through sense of “Aku Ru Ulo’ culture. Every successful Abiriba businessman have several people from his community that he has trained in his line of business, this is a powerful system that ensures continuity of success. That is why new billionaires are born everyday in Abiriba Ancient kingdo.

A model that is being taught as a course in Harvard Business school,is the greatest transfer of wealth and business mentorship in the world,producing more Millionaires or billionaires than all the business departments in Nigeria Universities. In fact,in Abiriba,you are not seen as successful or wealthy if you have not mentored and produced other successful young men/women,no matter how rich you are..

This place can't be a village, are u trying to tell me that it's only the indigenes are living here
@thetruth6396
@thetruth6396 6 месяцев назад
@@chinedunwafor6110 yes! 99% few teachers and some medical professionals from outside. The building 100% except government agencies. Igbos love properties but not on other people's villages because rentings are almost free in some cases. as long as you can keep the company clean that is enough fir most owners.

@@chinedunwafor6110 Why is it not a village? Just because you have mansions doesn't mean that it is no longer a village.
@thetruth6396
@thetruth6396 6 месяцев назад
@chinedunwafor6110 Yes and no! Is the only indigenes that built the homes, of course, it can't be only indigenes but the number of non-indigenes is insignificant just as even the most remote villages. None of those outsiders own a home there.

Small London??? You sound like you have not even left Nigeria.....lol. Nice houses. What I find comical is so many big houses but bad roads. Abiriba is a village. A village is not defined by mansions or mud huts.

The usual social media noise. Mansions that they don't live in. Most of the houses are empty, and some of them, no one ever lived inside, not even for a day...At any rate, of all the 5 states in the South East, none of them is economically viable, what is the purpose of the mansion?

Beautiful mansions built with hundreds of millions of naira probably with fancy cars but no sense by these mansion owners to come together and contribute money to tar the roads. Community effort is zero and when it rains , I can imagine how bad the roads will be. In spite of these mansions , Still a low or poor standard of living. What a pity.

You want to see the only negative side of Abiriba, but you're now disappointed. All those places you see are new layout, and you do expect more people there. As for the roads l can tell you that 80% of their roads are tarred by individuals and age grade

Is a village, not a commercial town. The owner doesn't do their business there. If you go to any residential area in the biggest cities of the world at a certain period and time everywhere looks like a ghost-time okay? Even ghettos.
@thetruth6396
@thetruth6396 9 месяцев назад
He's not making any sense. I live in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world - downtown is always bubbling but residential areas look empty and quiet at certain times, never noisy though because residents respect themselves and others. Do their things quietly at their homes.

These are country homes. The owners also have better homes where they live.
