Push Hacker 2 is a Max4Live device that lets you create custom control surface setups for the Ableton Push 1 and 2. I've been meaning to try it for a while, to see if I could create something comparable to the Akai Force's super-flexible performance layout. The short answer is 'not quite' and I'll make a video review / tutorial about Push Hacker 2 that explains why, but it's still pretty good. I made this track while experimenting with Push Hacker 2 - the knobs are mapped to persistent macros that don't disappear when you change modes, and the purple pads at the bottom are mapped to various mutes, in particular individual pads within drum groups. This is useful as you don't need to have the group open on the screen to access the mutes.
