Abnormally Normal: Walkabout with a Warthog 

Although we're temporarily closed, we're permanently committed to keeping you connected to our mission, our animals, the natural world and each other. 1-year-old common warthog, Alexander, and his keepers, Mandy and Al, are continuing Alexander's harness training, behind the scenes. Learn about how keepers positively reinforce his good behaviors, and watch Alexander go for a little walk on a private road behind the Zoo. This training will continue with the goal of pop-up walkabouts throughout the Zoo, when Alexander can meet guests up close!
