@@Beorn-Dash GBB needs online beatboxers to keep it fresh, theres only so much of the same stage beatboxers you can listen to. Stage beatboxers usually perform better in wildcards but now online beatboxers are making great ones too. Also online beatboxers can do just as good on stage, look at zero's performance last year or some osis live battles.
@@Beorn-Dash Musical doesnt mean to sound nice (this sounds nice tho). This monster its Musical not for non beatboxers but for beatboxers, and its what gbb actually needs... Lets be honest, since codfish new musical style introduction, we havent seen some other crazy old/new school beatboxers (just Zero). Its gud to see more beatboxie style, so technical but also with a clear melody and flow.
@@Beorn-Dash but there IS a theme that ties the whole structure together. You don’t necessarily need a melody to have a recurring motif. There’s a clear pattern that is painted with the sounds in this video.
For me, you are one of the few beatboxers that turn technicality and complexity into something so enjoyable and fun to listen to, while making me come back frequently to your wildcards. Your combos are genuinely complex while filled with crazy flow, due to how clean and polished your basics are. Your complexity for me, most of the time, isn't even due to how complex some special sounds are (they feel like an extra), but the way you deliver your rhythms with lots of unique sounding percussion sounds that are rich in attention to detail, with really interesting placements. Your skill is unmatched and unreal. Discarding the wildcards, i would love to listen to more stuff from you more frequently, your style is outstanding.
I usually am not the fan of tech beatbox but this one is special, I just can’t stop listening to this masterpiece The buildup+ drop at about 1:30 is just so sick that you don’t need a high level musicality My favorite routine this year 100% In!
I can't stop coming back to hear this more. From start to finish you don't waste a second, no long ass build up for half the wildcard. Goes in immediately and exciting straight away. The structure is also so good, everything fits together and it all makes sense. It tells a story with progression up to the climax with specific patterns reappearing throughout. Normally highly technical pieces fail to achieve this in many ways, but not at all here. Not to mention 10/10 originality. Worth noting too the performance and confidence displayed here really adds to the piece. All things considered this is first place for me.
الله يعينهم منك ياخي ههههه , much love from morocco , well structed , clean as ice , insane technicality , im so proud and i really hope you make it in brother that will be the best thing happening in the arabic community , wish you luck .....
Best for me. I don’t know how many times I listened this but It will be now 2 weeks x 5 times a day so something like 70 times and Im still impressed. Sick man. You have your own style.
At first I couldn’t really find the rhythm but man has this grown on me. Honesty my be my #1 on da list. Also he’s got a chill confident typa vibe. Lots of swag.
Any else think this is actually one of the best routines from anyone in recent history? He/This routine is hugely underrated as far as i am concerned. The quality of the structure is a massive bonus, but clean, new sounds and loads of control are the basis of an amazing set from Ice here. Top quality IMHO.
Normally, with discord beatboxers, I use to hear a lot of weird sounds in a composition that sounds just like mess. You actually put those type of sounds in a nice flow, and it sounds incredible. I hope you have good luck with the placements.
