Also- for not knowing anything about the steampunk aesthetic before making a video on it, you sold it VERY well. Every little piece in the set looks great, all the sounds are perfect, down to the sound of old fashioned cars passing by around halfway thru the original video. Even your accent helps to set the mood. I watch the steampunk optometrist video every night and I’m so immersed even after hearing it 20-30 times now. I’m so happy I get to add this to the playlist I’ve made. I’m very glad I found your content. Not to compare anyone else’s videos to yours, but frankly no other optometrist videos can compare to these. Thank you, sincerely.

Museums should seriously engage you to showcase their items! You explore the lens set's materiality and put it into context in a wonderful way. Museums should learn from the ASMR community. :)

When I tell you I have seen the original steampunk optometrist video soooo many times, it’s by far my favourite asmr video ever and I watch it at least once a week but I had a period where I watched it every night because it just has all the perfect sounds
I work in an optician store and I have to say that I absolutely love this video (and the steampunk video :)). Most of the time, people who do videos about glasses don’t do any research. You, however, actually explained it so nicely 🥰 I love how much effort you put into your videos! Thank you ❤️

It’s not exactly like goth, it’s more Victorian and has to do with inventions, and cog wheels and stuff. There isn’t much of goth in it, but I don’t know much about it so I’m not sure.

Thank you for this wonderfully relaxing and calming video! I really enjoy this type of "Show and Tell" video. I enjoyed your hand movements and brushing quite a bit. I also like the way you handle your items with such care and kindness. I normally just listen to ASMR videos, but I'm watching now on my new computer and new monitor and can appreciate the visual details which add to the ASMR effect. My two favourite videos thus far: it has to be a tie between your optometrist role play, and Maxence's Tingle Tailor video. Though I do love his Tingle Tea video too. I keep watching your steampunk optometrist video... I can't get enough! The day you released it, I had an important university French exam, and it really helped me to calm down (I was freaking out). More ASMR of that lens set please!! its SO lacking on youtube to get those kinds of sounds since people only use whats around their house and thus don't have access to what you have, and _thus_ are restricted to only eye chart tests and "follow the pen/light" stuff. The clicking of the lens and sliding them in is so unbelievably satisfying that I've practically memorized that video word-for-word from watching it so much...
