Right now, this game either lives or dies by the price on it.

It's been ages since we last had Lotus here, I'm glad Globku was able to schedule a time for it in this video. Though yeah, there's alot of factor that could make this game ride or die. I just hope it does well enough that it either gets a sequel or other well known good anime series can get games that *Aren't mobile*

I think this game seems fine, however, like everyone is saying, this game CANNOT be full price. Putting a 60-70U$ price on this game, means putting it on the same fighting ground as MK, Tekken and Street Fighter. And this, plus the fact that Nen Impact is most likely not getting crossplay or a extensive single player mode, could be the death of it.

I can understand wanting something that looks amazing but people have been complaining about the way anime games play for so long I know some won't pick up the game because of how it looks I just hope this game does really well. I love what they are doing

As someone who follows Bushiroad (They're mainly a TCG company), they will release this at full price. This is the same company who released a low budget tcg simulator during the same week as Scarlet/Violet while being $70. So yeah.....

Its not a dbfighterz, but dbfighterz is the greatest stuff out there graphically, the importance is the gameplay and competitive scene that may occur, seems like its gonna be great cus nen abilities are so interesting

This game is gonna be like Power Rangers but more anime with the double jumps and air dash movements. Okay Graphics, small roster at launch, one touch and you died in that game. I think this game will have a small community but will be a super fun game just like Rangers was for me. Of course both are Marvel 3 inspired lol

honestly kurapikas super, even if he canonically has some better looking moves, looks pretty freaking cool.

The game CANNOT cost more than 30$ with season pass, small roster is a really downer for a huge anime as hxh, the graphics are not that good sure but the gameplay really looks good, this will not be the same as dnf duel probably since they want people to buy and talk about the game this way people will buy to test it out

actually a bunch of gameplay has come out since evo japan for example Justin Wong made a video and it looks better. Lets hope it looks even better on release

As someone who's not a fan of HxH I'm not exactly Impressed but knowing more I am slightly changing my opinion. I still think it could be very meh but we'll see. I am glad it's actually a fighting game though. I love arena fighters but I think it's time for a new age. That being said if its anything more then 40 bucks it's a scam. If the game has a ton of other content then my opinion on that may change, but right now 40 bucks with character dlc would be great.

I think I need to learn to code. That way maybe descent anime games can come to light. A hunter x hunter game where you create your own character and nen ability would make a lot of sense. Choose your background, element, or circumstances that give you unique nen abilities and you can edit them to give different effects with over 200 plus possibilities. Which also allows for pvp.

It looks so much better now. My only problem was the graphics but now I’m sold. I’m getting this game

I am a bit worried about this game. Jm not big on playing fighting games but i love to watch them the animations athe interaction are just awsome and watching this game like you can tell its lower budget but theres definitely still passion put into this product hope it turns out well

It seems like they're appealing mainly to the hardcore fighting game audience. I'm just a casual gamer and I like to play around with flashy moves from my favorite characters. This game is lacking on this aspect. It feels like you could switch the hxh characters with any franchise and it would play the same. Just a low budget marvel vs capcom clone.

FGC fans will play this for a while before moving on I predict, not gonna get the game just to play for a little while online

jojo asbr had 50+ characters at launch and has some good fighting mechanics all for $50. But it wouldn't survive because of that friggin netcode. Meanwhile fighterz is still going strong because of the ip.

Seeing the gameplay in 60fps makes it look wayyy better than those clips posted on social media. However... even though I'm a huge HxH fan, I'm not paying $60 for this game with such a small roster and poor graphics. Now depending on if there's other content in the game or the price is $20-$30, then that could change my mind.

Looks like guilty gear and marvel vs capcom. Its looks pretty good honestly. I would've preferred a semi open world based off the Greed Island and Chimera Ant arcs....

I think , the minimum price should be 20-25 dollars/euro . Max price that i'm willing to pay is 30 dollars/euro. I hope they won't implement shitty micro transactions , battle passes etc. The only dlc should be characters so they can upgrade the small roster like they did in fighterz. I'm willing to support the game because we need more anime games that are gameplay focused and not another 3d battle arena (jjk cursed clash , storm collection, mha, jump force etc), at the right price of course. If they go for 60 dollars/euro route, they must put a lot of bonuses . Like free upcoming dlc, characters, stages, character customization, more supers etc, that are locked due to time constrains and the small budget but can bring them to the game (like no mans sky). In a sense they can make up for the missing content if they put out the game at a higher price. IF they don't go the micro transaction route (looking at you tekken 8). That's my point of view of the game up until now.

I'll happily pay $70 if it's well designed, which it looks to be. A fighting game should be measured by its gameplay, Arcsys spoiled fighting game fans (other games for other genres) and now we wonder why development costs are skyrocketing, why games have alternative payment options/DLC attached to projects, etc. Keep in mind too this was not a legacy project. Making 16 well designed characters that play unique from one another is no small thing, and if paying $70 plus another $40 + over the long term for DLC will help support the game to see it fully fleshed out, it's a small cost to pay for a game that I (and probably several of you claiming the game should be $30) will likely be sinking a ton of hours into. Also, am I impressed by the graphics? Of course not. But as WE got to see them, they aren't so bad that it would break the game or make me feel like I should pay less. Everyone who got to play it reported back that it looks WAY better in person, and the videos we were given did not do it justice.

I personally don’t care how a game looks visually to a point, I care how the games mechanics are and how fun the game is people saying they aren’t buying the game because of the visuals don’t have fun, I see it as a good thing that they focused on gameplay before visuals.

My only concern and problem with this game is that it’s TOO much like MVC3, like I understand the same developer and budget but I would rather just play MVC3 than this game because it lacks originality.

not every anime needs to become a fighting game and this is kinda one of those examples, i hate the game cuz it doesnt look good and seems boring, its just another fighting game that will be forgotten in a year like the one punch man fighting game, you can literally replace the characters and ability's with some other anime and you will still have a fighting game that is lackluster, all you have to do is slap a big anime name onto it and people will either go crazy or be bored of it when the game comes out, the only option i can see where hunter x hunter can be in a fighting game without it being crap is if it were in like a j-stars or jump force kind of format where there are many different characters from different anime fighting i personally would like to see arksystem works make that kind of game with as much depth as fighterz

The game is gonna be 50$ with dlc and honestly I'm OK with that. I can see the effort they're putting in the game and if we support it that will give incentive to make better anime fighters and not just settle for the arena fighting bs
