If this game had some combat features of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Like Dodging attacks, Countering the ki blast left and right, different charged attacks to break the defence etc., I'll be happy.
Costumes are also confirmed if you read the last image of the deluxe edition. It says is includes a costume for Goku (super ) with a stick on the back.
One thing that is really bothering me is that I see no GT characters yet and they are not in the cover either. I really hope they don't do GT DLC they must be in the base game
I really doubt Ui Goku is a form for Goku(super) i think he will be a seperate character that starts with ui sign and transforms into Mui because anime goku cant turn ui at will(the same way Vegeta cant turn majin at will so they made him into a seperate character)
@Iknowitsweirdbut2061 I was looking for a comment like this, everyone is so hyped they seem to be missing the visual problems of this game. Not only do the ki blasts look small and underwhelming compared to Tenkaichi 3, but alot of the characters movements and animations look extremely stiff and unnatural. e.g. at around 1:15 when trunks is preparing to fire off his ki blast with vegeta, the animation looks extremely stiff like theres not enough squash or strech frames, also the ki blast itself looks too solid and not like a smoth beam of energy.
@@iknowitsweirdbut2061 I feel you bro, communities like this can be quite unsufferable and dont take kindly to any form of critcism, regardles of how valid the criticism is. it's sad aswell because if people can't provide contructive criticism, not only does it give gaming companies more opportunities to exploit gamers, but also prevents games from living up to there full potential.
Very nice stuff. Also note that you can play the game 3 days earlier with the deluxe and ultimate edition. Funny though that seems somewhat also the case for the upcoming dlcs lol. I am a bit intrigured by the ultimate upgrade pack within the ultimate edition. - Goku (Super) costume with power pole <- Assume it's just a skin, not a totally new character with it's own moves because of ther power pole. - Emote voice set <- for taunts? - 2 player card backgrounds <- for your profile I guess - 1 customization item <-- This is what I am curious about...what customization....UI?
Ui sign is probably a cosmetic. Apparently from the Ultimate edition dlc for the Super hero Goku it confirms that alt outfits change move sets so it only makes sense to make UI Sign a skin
My only problem is that certain beams are so thin. As a super attack I understand, but some are ultimates and they don't look bigger than the 3rd game's.
with what the news letter and official websites states: season pass gonna include 20+ characters, no crossplay/cross-progression. Shenron: This is a bonus item that comes with the Season Pass purchase. By using the "Shenron" summoning function, you can summon "Shenron" once in the game and have your wish granted, and you can obtain Zenny, costumes, etc. summon Super Shenron once and you can get either playable character, zenny and other things. (they also state you don't need all 7 to use them for this) so it's either gonna be a case of xenoverse 2 style were we can gather them now n again or if worse comes to worse. . gacha for random things
A thing you didn't mention is Blue Evolution Vegeta. That's him on the box cover, which likely means that he's in the game. Given that the Super Anime isn't coming out in a while, since Daima is taking all of the staff's attention right now, and that Dragon Ball games don't use manga content, Ultra Ego Vegeta probably won't be in the game for a while, and by then, you could probably get away with making a new goku and vegeta for those new forms.
