I agree with you, I had the opportunity to make an investment with mr. Robert Andrew I'm so glad I didn't waste this opportunity because it changed my life
That shot starting at 04:58, comparing the real studio space with the 3D model of the same space, is a masterful bit of filmmaking. I can't help but wonder how much time and effort it took to get those 10 seconds of video so perfect that both spaces appear almost indistinguishable. Magnificent work, Casey! 💯👏
I love how he describes his dream studio restructuring... as basically the exact studio he had before moving to LA, haha. 100% am on board this project Casey.
I love Casey but I can’t help but think a lot of his recent vlogs have been retreads of old ideas from older videos . Case in point the studio renovation.
The second door has always been there, but often covered by something. The previous office wasn't quite a full square as there's always been a piece of wall behind his plywood overhead rig and the workbench to its right.
When Casey was explaining his studio renovations I couldn't help myself from replying out loud about the walls "Oh youre tearing down the wall you put up and putting up the same wall you tore down last time. nice"
NickTDrizzy • I understand what you mean! During his explanation, all I kept saying to myself was..."Sooo, you're basically going back to your old studio?". I would have cracked up if he also said he was making the smaller room into a game room lol.
I will never stop being amused and respect knowing that someone had to walk out a door, place a camera, press record, walk back in the room, and then turn around and walk out again
Yes. Or put a camera on the shelf in the closet and get the exposure right. I haven’t used any new cameras, so it might be easier than I think, but all the hard work shows in the quality.
He's actually returning the studio back to when it used to be. Still always inspiring to see a new vlog in my feed from him. He always knows how to tell great stories.
it's so inspiring to come on youtube where people get inspired by someone doing absolutely nothing in this video he gave a tour of a hotel room and then a tour of a very disorganized and unfinished office space
lol this is one of my favorite videos from you Casey, when I saw the part you built a model of your studio I was laughing and not surprised cause you've built some crazy props for your videos before. Been watching your videos for a long time and this one was pretty refreshing, and also shows how much you care about getting these crazy shots and props and incorporating them so naturally into your videos, nobody still does it like you. Glad you're posting again, thanks!
he's explaining it for those who are new to cassies channel. but for the og viewers, he's essentially going back to exactly how it used to be before he left for LA. man its so awesome seeing the og office back to its former glory.
Hey Casey, on the rare occasion you see this I just want to say thank you for bringing the frequent uploads back. Every time I see you show up in my recommended it really makes my day that bit better.
The work you put into the filming, the transitions, the way you make everything move from one take into other … sometimes i forgot what the video is about and then I watch it a second time You are fucking amazing
love your videos so much lately casey, they genuinely just put me in such a good mood. makes me happy to see someone so talented as you happy to do what you love.
OH MAN! This was NOSTALGIC, I love this new-old format, where you tell a story through making something. The quick cuts, the crafting and the diy-ness is not only captivating it is motivating and uplifting. Watching you makes me happy and inspired. Thank you, Casey. :)
This video is the perfect example of why Casey is a master of story telling. Lets just summarise it to the absolute brim. He talks about rooms and yet you felt entertained throughout the video.

I love how Casey somehow is still grounded, despite probably being so wealthy. The little things in life still bring him so much joy and his videos are still always about fun little things like trying to make his studio more personalised or how fun New York is on halloween. Also love how his videos are not excessively long either like those other greedy you tubers. Casey will always be the little plant growing in a junkyard of RU-vid videos that brings me inspiration and happiness instead of pleasure.
He is still very grounded, and it's not just these videos. Every interview or person I've heard that's met him says the same. He's the same across the board. But to address the "probably wealthy" point... He got $25 million from CNN for Beme. Probably spent a lot the 3 yrs in Cali, but remember, he makes like $2k per day from RU-vid (about $730k annually from 2021 numbers) so he's got some serious coin. In some ways you can tell he's wealthy, but his attitude remains grateful and that is the key to making him seem so grounded! Love this discussion btw

Quentin Tarintino films and Casey Neistat building cool shit are my two favorite forms of media/entertainment on the planet. Doesn't get better than this🍿
The studio construction videos are my favorite type of videos you post!! It’s fascinating to see how the studio evolves over the years worked in it. I love the cozy/welcoming atmosphere of the studio. Thanks Casey, never stop!
imagine having the energy and enthusiasm Casey has to tackle all these projects and have a work life, family, etc... but also having the time to film and edit these so masterfully. Casey I live vicariously through you (And Peter McKinnon)
Seems almost like moving back to NYC has re-sparked the creative desire to make and produce things for you, obviously not that it was ever lost, but you can just see the passion in your videos lately! Love it man, keep doin you!
Starting watching Casey when I was a teenager, now almost mid-twenties and I still find I have the same appreciation for his well crafted videos. Keep it up Casey.
Casey changing his studio around is like the adult version of my needing to clean my room before getting any work done. It's like an itch on the inside of my brain that I can't scratch until I do it
the world is healing, the dolphins are in venice, the whales are in the hudson, and caseys rebuilding the studio. You've always been there for me sir, great to see you doing what you love.
I'm really enjoying these last videos and this one in particular is taking me back of at least 8 years. So pumped about seeing that wall coming down, it will bring back so many memories of the original studio, with all the screens projecting Scarface etc. Can't wait for it!
Welcome back brudda, always ready for more of your fantastic work. The soundtracks, the tempo, the immersion into your experience, love it can't get enough
Goodness gracious you are an INCREDIBLE film maker my friend! I am NOT a filmmaker but the more that I have watched your videos on RU-vid, the more I try to slow down and analyze the amount of skill that it could take to make these and I cannot fathom what it takes, so thank you Casey for the opportunity to view your content for free on RU-vid.
You make me laugh, Casey. Not like lol but actually laugh out loud. Your videos and spirit are a joy, they awake the kid inside of us all. Let’s keep playing.
The level of creativity, attention to detail and relentless energy behind these videos is awe-inspiring. So much love for you Casey. Would love to see you have your own school one day that influences the next gen to build, create and do more as you do in these vids - maybe loop in Mark Rober and call it a day - the future of education is solved
one of my favorite videos so far of your recent drops! brings back the classic Casey feel…you are one of the best Storytellers, you are one of the 🐐’s at giving an amazingly visual through your editing & shots! 👏🏼💯
Great video - Love the scale modeling which gave me an idea for my Overland Build in my Discovery 3. 👍😁 Always a great watch, impressed on how much you are able to pack into one video without it being stressful. 👌 Best, Simon 🇳🇴
I love the similarities between Casey and Vans videos. This one was exceptionally similar to the style of Vans music and craft/construction videos and I am here for it! Can't wait to see the old space back in action!
I feel like this vlog is going back in time and I’m here for it! Give it a couple more months and it’s going to be every day again. Hopefully, because I loved Casey’s everyday videos
I love that you experience all this lavish s**t and you don't just think "ah yes this is nice" - you think about WHY it feels nice to you, and then think about how you can take that nice feeling and find it into your everyday life to make you more productive, happier, and better. Always improving.
and i have to add that it was truly a next-level scale model. I still remember vividly in one of Casey's past vlogs, he made a 2D scale model for his studio. This one was even more outrageously fun. And the fact that there was a label that said "scale model" inside the scale model. My man. The wry sense of humor appreciated. Hands down he's one of the best men on earth.
