Is it possible to choose what you do want in the absence of contrast? So on a platform of nothingness or total non-experience, can you identify what you want & trend in that direction? Or are all desires borne of contrast/experiences with unwanted?

@@alloneallove Well, I concluded at age 12 that I want to be single & child-free indefinitely (as I am, happily) & I've experienced neither marriage nor childbirth in this lifetime. I just awakened to the (inner) absence of those 2 desires at 12.

@@writerforlifeify that might have been your intention coming in, as a part of your mission. Per Dolores Cannon, Some souls choose not to be "tied" to the Earthly circumstances, so they can focus on their mission, and be free to finish and leave it whenever its necessary.

@@alloneallove Yup. Makes sense to me. I always said my 'choice' at age 12 to never marry or be a mom was never really a choice, meaning it wasn't a conscious decision I made in my head, like deciding what to wear today. It feels like a deeper Truth I just uncovered at 12, a Truth I was born into. It feels like ME. So, should I have married & had a family of my own, I would be living some other soul's life, not mine; I'd be a foreigner in my own life--the very paragon of Self-betrayal...the apotheosis of tragedy. Can't even imagine it...... Richard Simmons (RIP) said he knew he'd never marry or be a dad as he couldn't give enough love or time to a spouse/child since he had soooo many others to give love to through his weight-loss mission (the deeper goal of which was teaching Self-love). He impacted literally millions of people! His passion for his work was undeniable.
