ABROAD BASED NIGERIAN LADY CRIED OUT - NO HOUSE WAS BUILT MY BROTHER HAVE FINISHED ALL MY MONEY 

Im a Ghanaian and i know of a friend who is based in the UK. He sends down his equipments like doors,bulbs and whatever he ll need a month or two weeks before he comes to Ghana. He stays for lets say a month or two to supervise the building till he runs out of what he brought and the he goes back. May be a year or two later,he comes back again. Please family is not family anymore

Why do we continue to make the same mistake over and over? We see and hear stories about family stealing money from their families overseas, but we continue sending them money to do business for us. Please, stop it! Give your family whatever you want to give them, but when it comes to business, do it yourself. And buy your land or house secretly far away from your family.

My brother, you are absolutely correct. Most of our relatives in Nigeria think that those of us abroad have banks in our houses or a money printing machine. Here, you cannot get something for nothing. You work for every pound or dollar that you are paid and it requires a great sacrifice for you to save anything. I was a victim myself to the tune of over 5 million naira but I can count myself as a lucky one because the house was completed. It was an unpleasant experience. If you cannot trust your brothers and sisters back home, who can you trust?

I am not a Nigerian, but I can tell you that these stories are happening all over Africa...... We are a bad race quite frankly, we betray our own, steal from them and abuse them..... Us it a wonder why Africa will never succeed, it will remain very poor and go further backward.

Most of the Parents that born plenty children has no love for thier children, they born plenty for thier own selfish interest and not out of love.

My sister i pity you, some will not understand because it has never happened to them. We that have gone through similar odeal can feel and understand your pain. My advice to you is deal with no family members, deal with someone that is of a distance of your family. Don't let them kill your dreams. Confide with your friend that sent her father to investigate for you to assist you to get somebody that is reliable to help you, though it is difficult but God will see you through. They live large more than us suffering here. Trust me, sis, they will always survive and live better than you. Don't trouble your heart. Ignore them for one year and don't even pick their calls. Honestly if u wanna build a house in 9ja open an account save all the money, if u can. Then come back stay 1 month see the house get to a reasonable place. Then leave, cuz I had the same wahala though my brother built my house but the cost is mad let me explain.. when cement was 1900 I build 4 bedroom bungalow for 28m . When cement was 3500 I build a mansion for 36m. So kist imagine the difference. Please open an account without online access, put ur money in there then take a month leave and come do it ursef
