Interesting to see the time format in the Philippines is Ng Madaling Araw (MA), Ng Umaga (NU), Ng Tanghali (NT), Ng Hapon (NH), Ng Gabi (NG) during that time. It's somewhat rarely used nowadays

I remember in 94 my dad had surgery at the hospital in the city. the room was private with its own cable tv (my first brush with non free to air tv lol). I watched cartoons from us network feeds and they used weekdays, weekends, etc. me the pretentious american wannabe kid wondered why local networks can't do the same. fast forward to late 2000s I think and the local networks started doing it to my chagrin 😬

Magandang Umaga Po is the morning show aired on ABS-CBN in 1988-1996.

Naabutan ko to 1990. Pero hindi pini-play ng provincial relay station ng cdo (na abot sa Region 12 at that time lolz). Me cable na kasi sa amin by June of '94 kaya di na ako pamilyar masyado sa ABS-CBN shows. But before that eh mga 8 to 9. Nagsisimula ang programming with Video Hit IParade, then mga cartoons na English. Mga 10 am yung Tagalog cartoons.

This clip (2:04-2:09) sounds too curious to me. This theater in this "Million Dollar Movies" plug obviously and mostly appears to be similar to Eat Bulaga's OBB from 1989 (EB would move to ABS the following/this said year; February 18). That will be one of our trivias on it.
