Hubby’s like “your yarn cabinet is overflowing into the living room!” ME: 🤷🏼♀️ Then he calls me from Ollie’s today and says, “They got Bernat Blanket here, 220 yards for $4.99 a skein.” 😂 I use that yarn for amigurumis. ME: “You know good prices! You’re a peach, grab 8 and I’ll go back next week and look at the other colors.” HIM: “Okay.” 😂 I scored! 🤣🤣 I agree, sc border as not to take away from the design of the project. As usual, another pattern saved 😊 You are simply the best! ❤
This looks just like a pattern I’m working on now but instead of that “3 chains”stitch, you begin with a single crochet then a triple crochet in the next stitch, then single then triple and so on. Then you end the row with a single crochet. Chain 1 turn then single crochet across. I’m doing the rows with the triples in the back loops except the first & last stitch under both loops. Then through both loops on the all single crochet rows. Try it out ❤❤

I love this. I've been drawn to more textured stitches lately, but some of them look so involved and gobble up yarn. This looks so simple. I can't wait to try it.
I am very Impressed how I’m getting a hang of this New little nubs called black berry stitch this is cool me being a new beginner. This is very catchy for me, very exciting to learn new rhings☺️🎉
Love this. I did a baby blanket with a variation of this stitch. I wanted a border but couldn't find any I liked with the stitch. Used a quilting trick...repeat in the border what's in the quilt. When I was done with the blanket, I did 3 rounds of SC (use an odd # of rounds). Then I did 2 rounds of the stitch (with SC in between) followed by a round of SC. Perfect Border! Just watch to make sure your border nubs are on same side as blanket nubs. Side note: I had initially done a swatch to calculate # of initial chains for blanket size. I trialed possible borders on the swatch to see if they worked or not.

Great question! Find the little gear ⚙️ at the bottom of the video OR click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the video to open settings. Then click Playback Speed. That is where you can control the speed of the video! I hope this helps! 🤗🧶💖
