If Emirichu hadn't said that Illysa can't be a mafia twice in a row, causing the subconscious idea to be implanted that Illysa can't be mafia due to being a mafia last round, they might've had a chance to have won. Of course, Illysa's acting helped a lot, but it might not have worked as good without Emirichu's call.

I would love to see a part 4 with more animators, like I feel like Jaiden and Rebecca from Let Me Explain Studios would have a BLAST with this.

Sultan is a mastermind- the first round he got all the mafias out and now in the second round, even though he died he still got TWO mafias down! Good Game.

Some fundamental truths of Maafia: -Ilyssa will always be the last Maafia standing -Andy will always get himself killed -Sultan will always be MVP -Maaz will always laugh at their pain

I think it's funny how PJ the wizard always choose the person who ended up dying so She never got to even learn any useful information before dying.

The fact that Illy was constantly holding a knife or gun in the animation makes the fact that no one suspected her even better

Illy and Sultan were the MVPs this round. No doubts. Overall, a great followup from the first one. The animation choices made the experience so much better. But everyone played their part of RNG roles with notable flair. I find it amazing that this isn’t scripted.

From what I can tell, Sultan's ridiculously smart even when he doesn't know it, and Illy's really good at acting. She didn't have any big brain moments, but she panicked convincingly and defended others without going too far despite being a Maafia.

I think they would’ve won if they heard Maaz say ‘the glitter in her glasses’ when Gingerninja got killed and says ‘oh no’ but illy didn’t say anything. Because Illy has glasses as well it would’ve shocked her as well if she didn’t know who she was gonna kill.

Everybody is talking about something else, but nobody is talking about how by sheer luck, whatever godly forces helped Sultan, linked two of the Maafia. He's literally MVP

I like how even though the Maafia had the sense to kill him first, Sultan was still able to screw them over. This guy is too good at this. And hats off to Illy! Even though she was mostly acting on her own, she managed to simultaneously manipulate the others and fly under the radar.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate the brilliance in all of Illy's picks. Whether by accident or design, all of the targets in the night were not only strategically sound, but thematically perfect. * Sultan is the obvious pick for a first target given that he not only took down the Maafia last round, he managed to link two Maafia together by sheer chance, meaning that he basically handicapped them from the start. While it probably didn't require a lot of discussion, I imagine Illy pretty much told Laddi and Andy "Guys, we need Sultan obliterated YESTERDAY!" * With Rea, it seemed like she was headed to taking Sultan's place as the lead detective after Sultan's obliteration. She seemed to have picked up a bit of his weird sixth sense for the game with how she managed to describe the exact scenario of Laddi and Andy both being linked Maafia. And given that James and Rush were just out for blood, PJ just kind of rolled over and died and Emily would prove to be so useless without her previous Wizard powers as to pick someone who can't even speak for themselves, Rea was most likely going to be the one to find Illy if she had survived the round. * Finally, there's Emily. Now, this is a one-two punch as while Emily clearly didn't gain Sultan's uncanny accusatory skills, she, like Rea, did gain a knack for figuring out what was going on and called that a former Maafia from round one was back. As for the second punch, her blindly accusing Alex for a whole turn created a perfect opening for Illy to sow the seed of distrust in Alex. The fact that the only ones left were James (overconfidently wrong) and Rush (who seemed to be out for his own obliteration) made this seed blossom into a beautiful flower of chaos while she got to sit back, watch the fireworks, and kill Rush on the last night. Now, that's all the strategy, but as for the thematically perfect part I said at the top? Well, let's go back to the first game of Maafia. At the final round, Illy and Sultan were nominated and the score ended with two votes for Sultan (Illy and Laddi) and three for Illy. Those three votes? Sultan, Rea and Emily. All of Illy's targets were players that voted her off last game and this game saw her, one by one, obliterate all of them. She got her revenge and took down a whole town while she was it.
