Absolute Black 46/30 & 50/34 Chainrings Ride Review 

I did find the chain came off to start with but I just adjusted the front mech and it was sorted. I use synchro shift so the front only changes onto the small ring when I go into the 32 on the back and then when it’s about half way down the cassette it changes back onto the big ring. I’m pretty sure you could change at any time though without issue. 👍

@@KyrosHouseCycling No worries - I bought some anyway. Failed at my Everesting attempt as I went off too fast and it got too hot, bu there's always a next time!

@@Fazzathebrave how are you finding the 46/30 in general? I'm mulling over that and the 48/32 for general riding. Currently ride a 50/34, but often find myself wishing I had something lower for the really steep stuff / v.long hilly rides and when we head to the alps, etc. Also - out of interest which hill did you try your everesting on? I'm local and an attempt is on my radar for next year.

its probably because I have a short cage running a 32 cassette... don't let them tell you you can't..
